My stag eco was just much better than his, when he built his altar his eco pretty much sucked afterwards. Also I was way ahead on lore which means my military units were way stronger for a while until he could catch up which gave us the big advantage for a while. The fight where i lose my army to their warcry + lynx ability was so good for us cause I could re convert and we could slay their entire army because they had no abilities. It was a bait pretty much
