So, are they microbead extensions for your natural hair? I was wondering if microbead extensions are a good idea for my hair since I grown it out since my remission from cancer. My hair type is between 2a or 2b.
imo it's not really a tangible hairstyle to achieve. You could replicate it but it will not look as good. To replicate it you need to let your hair grow for at least a year and an half-two years depending at what lenght you start. Then it comes the strange part. You need to cut only the bangs of your hair around the cheek level, and also have some shorter clumps of hair on your forehead. Then split the bangs into a middle part and try to make them slightly slick back with some hairspray or something (otherwise the bangs will just fall near your eyes). Tie your hair into a ponytail and leave your bangs. Done. It will look worse because real-life hair is much softer and is affected by gravity, so achieving the "choppy" and carefree style is near impossible (Anime hair strands are clumped togheter and look so a lot textured. The only way to come close to that level is seasalt spray or styling products). Oh, and don't even try to do it if you have straight hair. It just won't work
Unfortunately i have a widows peak and my receding hairline is so far back that it makes my man buns look terrible. Wish I could do it but it's fine, I'm currently just letting my natural curls flow and I'm ok with that.
