    What temperature should the ground be to remove mulch? He uses a thermometer but does not say.

    I'm guessing around 55 degree soil temp? Thats usually when things start to stir in the ground. Greencast online on their resources tab has a soil temp map that I use. I usually wait until the ground soil has a 5 day average of about 53 degrees or so for my zip code.
