Oh yeah he can be super sharp if he's coached well. That's what's so frustrating about Mayfield's career. At his best, Mayfield's a quality NFL starter and he plays with so much competitiveness.
Look, I was excited that Baker was on the Browns. His debut was awesome. I remember hearing the cheers for him, and the city finally found a bright spot. He did what no other quarterback has done in over 10 years for us: He brought us back into the playoffs in 2020. He really is exciting to watch, and I really loved how much energy he brought to the city. But the city turned its back on him because people wanted an "elite" QB. Now we have Watson, and he won 3 and lost 3. 2023 is the year everyone thinks is "the year" (a phrase we haven't heard like a million times🙄) and Im telling you right now that its not the players, coaches or personnel you hire, but the organization itself that can't win. Names like "The Mistake on The Lake" and "Factory of Sadness" aren't something you can get rid of that easily. The last thing I'll say is that everyone who wanted Watson, you asked for this. You asked for this and you will get what you asked for. If we are not in the playoffs by the third year of his contract, you can bet your money that the same people who asked for him will want him gone. I hope the Browns succeed because I'm a fan, but its the Browns, need I say more?
Yea man, Browns gonna Brown. I'm a Falcons fan so I feel your pain. At least y'all don't have 28-3 on your resume. I kinda pull for the Browns just because they're like the lovable losers or whatever. And you've got Chubb. You've got a pretty darn good team right now so maybe Watson will get back to what he was next year. I'm glad my Bulldogs are winning right now because I don't think the Falcons will ever figure it out.
@@whatsthebigfndeal at least the falcons have seen the deep playoffs dawg, we’ve won one playoff game in the past 25 years. I’d rather have the 28-3 than touching a winning season once is 20 years
I grew up a Cowboy's fan and I have to say that watching the highlights of the Browns games this year was tough because I absolutely love Chubb - the guy is a Champion no doubt. And y'all lost so many CLOSE games. I would love to see the Browns win the Super bowl. The iconic ugly uniforms, the color scheme, no logo on the helmet, etc....I'd be the first to buy that merch if the Browns make a run. I love that kind of story - GO BROWNS!
Im far from a football expert, i have only been watching/following this sport for a few years now but in my humble opinion, Baker is by no means the worst (or one of) QB in the league. He probably faced some unlucky situations that led to him being where he's at right now but i'm confident he could pretend for a QB1 spot in the NFL. On top of that, he's one of the rare guys that make the sport fun to watch, you can tell he's having fun on the field and that transpires and makes it enjoyable for a viewer. He also turned a franchise that was widely considered as terrible for years and years and restored some semblance of faith in their fans. While he's no Tom Brady, everyone can agree on that, he is still very much capable of running an offense, and i'm certain his uplifting personnality is inspiring to his teammates and makes them better. I hope he can find some stability and a team that trusts him

Lol. They are trying to throw dirt on this guy and he is still out here beating favored teams and moving on in the playoffs.
Minor mistake but OBJ wasn’t traded he was cut
lol people dont talk about obj and by extension his family too, brought alot of distractions and toxicity to the locker room with very little production. its all baker bad, as he plays injured and gets them to the playoffs for consecutive years as well as rookie of the year and other random records broken ON TOP of multiple steelers wins in statistically one of the most unhappy cities in the USA (metrics used for study were Murder, Suicide & Divorce)......
@@WarpedMiniatures that's cap
@@WarpedMiniatures why the fuck do you keep bringing up divorce statistics in Cleveland? What the fuck does that have to do with anything? Sorry we don't consider what the neighborhoods are like in the cities where these teams play… But I'm pretty sure you know Chicago plays in the league. You know the highest murder rate in the country… If you really want to get into statistics there are ways shittier places than Cleveland which actually makes Cleveland even more shitty.
Baker is far from over, and he’s proving it right now with the Buccs
Hes ballin so far with Tampa
Failed, he took a team that lost almost every game and he made them a team that could win the super bowl.
And now he just won a playoff game for us in Tampa tonight 🔥
Obj hasn't done anything in years
The way the Browns just gave up on Baker for fucking Deshaun Watson was so disrespectful. He brought them their first taste of success and the minute he underperformed (while playing through injuries), they thought they were too good for him and dumped him. I never much cared for the guy, but that’s shit.
I mean its a no brainer. Watson is way better than baker🤣🤣.
No. Baker got two coaches fired and got a top receiver cut, who ended up with a Superbowl. That's his fault.
@@saj8 GOAT COMMENT!!!!
@@Modeek6 Watson has played far worse than baker ever had so far, has raped 20 women, and is getting paid three times as much, not to mention we lost first rounders for him. Watson is trash and isn’t who he use to be at all. Getting paid that much money you shouldn’t need half a season to warm up and just be kinda shit instead of complete shit.
@@saj8 what coach did baker get fired? Also why is Stefanski’s only good season coaching with baker being healthy? Not to mention the browns should just cut every receiver right now, because so far watsons favorite receiver is either the grass or the other team, I can’t tell which is his number one option yet
I think he will figure it out. He had the weirdest career thus far. Had Hue and Kitchens, then go to Stefanski and have success during covid year. Starts off super hot and gets that shoulder injury 2nd game of season and just isn't the same. Get's traded to Carolina in June/July right before the season, awful play calling and coach was fired after 5 games. We saw some flashes in LA, his first game he gets signed on a Monday to play Thursday and he played well.
Stefanski was the reason he had success. He managed to get Brissett to have a top 10 QBR this year. Kind of funny the people who are trying to write off Watson because of just 6 games at the end of a season after 2 years away from the game.
@@randumo24 so how did Stefanski work his magic with Baker and Brissett, but not for Watson?
Nah. Mayfield is garbage.

How is he on a downfall now? Yeah everything with the panthers was bad, but it looks like there is something for him with the Rams. Just a thought.

Firstt
And then what he did for the Rams man I was watching that game it was magical, he literally got there and won them a magical game!
Oh yeah he can be super sharp if he's coached well. That's what's so frustrating about Mayfield's career. He's got all the athletic tools, he's just always been screwed over by injuries, bad coaching and accuracy issues (sometimes all three). At his best, Mayfield's a quality NFL starter and he plays with so much competitiveness.
great way to describe that game
This hasn't ages well
It’s not over for bake. My boy is a fighter
really his dad was crying on social media thats real manly beckham family
OBJ’s career has sky rocketed…
1. He didn't beat out Darnold; staff wanted to see what they could do with him instead and 2. He asked to be released after seeing he would be QB2.
So, do you enjoy being this pessimistic in life?
@TheMemeSheriff I'm a Browns fan. Need I say more? The hope goes up then down every year. Been that way for years.
