Steve Kerr on Jonathan Kuminga’s 2023-24 NBA performance:
“Kuminga is definitely someone who has that potential. He will need to have a similar leap next year to the one he had this year. I thought this year he played really well and the game started to slow down for him. There are certain areas where if you’re going to be that no. 2 guy then you have to be proficient.”
Jonathan Kuminga highlights his offseason workouts:
“I would say I’m very ready. I’m confident in the work that I’m going to put in this summer to come back and be that guy that they’re going to rely on sometimes.”

Warriors can absolutely upgrade Wiggins + Kuminga on that wing / forward role.
Yes JK can become a legit #2 option…if JK works in his game especially his jump shot over the summer and more importantly Kerr gives him a shot and also changes his offense that doesn’t just revolve around setting screens for Curry
I just want to see Levingston train this man out some midrange/fadeaway plays. Hes by far close to what livingston can do.

JK needs to get better in terms of pull up jumpers. His release is a little bit slow. He needs to improve his shooting
Kuminga will be an average player as long as he is coached by Kerr. Kuminga should not sign this summer. He has to wait and see how he plays next season. If he get a chance, he can sign with big money. If not, he can leave and go to the place where the coach values his talents.
All this is irrelevant till October see y'all then have a great vacation

Kuminga is going to be alright. Team him with Edey at center and its a winning combo.
The Warriors need Purdue's Center Edey, Edey is built in the mold of the Auzzie , he would be a force under the basket. The man's 7' 4 with skills.

Rebounding And playmaking this will help limit his turnovers and perimeter defense is definitely something he needs to reinvent in his game
Kuminga needs to work on his decision-making and not give up on plays. Choosing his spots wisely and playing defense better.

Love Curry, that said, he and everyone needs to cut way down on turnovers. Play small, have to be fast paced and move the ball, CP3 doesn’t fit. Can Trace play bigger and stronger next year? If not Warriors have to get a bigger center, where does that leave Trace? JK will fill either spot.
JK showed Warriors that he can be that guy but i think Kerr and the organization arent ready yet. One thing is sure that Warriors want JK to be Draymond's successor. Kerr is asking too much from JK when he is not even part of his development. A smart coach teaches first his player before he demand something from him.
I think JK will be an asset to a sign and trade this offseason along with Wiggins. And their big 3 will stay in Warriors.

Yes, he will improve from last season, but it will be a couple of years more before he reaches his full potential.

If they sign kuminga, this off season, it would be another Jordan pool mistake, his not what the warrior needs his not a star like people are saying, and it was proven when the team need him the most, his just wasn't there, at first I was amazed he improved but when went up against those top teams he look like he doesn't know what his doing
If he is going to play the 3, whuch is traditionally the scorer position he needs to improve his 3 point shooting, his pull back shooting and his free throw shooting. And defensively he needs to be more connected with the team schemes thst the team is running and not have so many lapses losing his man because although he is gifted physically, if you are not disciplined on D you are allowing easy buckets. I dont think much is wrong mechanically with hus shot it is just reps IMO. At this stage of his career he is not ready to be the number 2. But if he can start abd end the season as the 3 thats progress. Team needs a guy for the Klay role a 3 and D guy who should be the number 2 for the year.
