How long do these keep and do they dry out eventually? I have tried other recipes and they seem to stay soft for a long time and also like quadruple in size over a couple hours
Hey thanks! We just started this channel like 2 weeks ago, so we're still working on the whole sub thing, lol. But thanks for checking it out!!! (and tell your friends! ;) )
Hey! Very cool video! I’ll be planning a gender reveal party pretty soon and would like to make edible bombs for a gender reveal drink toast with everyone. Any ideas on how to conceal the color until the bomb is dropped into the drink?
What a cool idea! We make a regular bath bomb thats kind of like that, where it has a secret color inside. There's a few ways to do it, but the easiest way is to make a little bitty mini bath bomb first, that'll be the one with your coloring. Then once it's dry, make a slightly bigger bath bomb, and place the mini one in the center of it before you press it all together. Also (if you couldn't tell from the video), sugar is your friend when it comes to edible bath bombs, lol. And I'd strongly recommend a few practice batches first before you serve your guests with them! lol.
These don't work. I just tried the recipe. When you mold them they rise from the baking soda and do not dry out. They taste like alka seltzer, needs less baking soda.
Hi there! That happens when there's too much water. Moisture content is king when making bath bombs. You want to try for a lightly wet sand texture. If it's too dry they won't mold, if it's too wet they'll swell (the water will continue to activate the baking soda & citric acid), and they won't fizz well. The best mix is when you're pretty sure it's still a little too dry to work, and then it molds great. Hope this helps! -Joe
Now I can bathe in my favourite drink? MY DREAM HAS COME TRUE
Ha ha, awesome! I'd do a video with my favorite drink but who could afford a bath tub worth of Starbucks frappuccino?? lol
Soakey Dokey Yeah!

That’s so cool your so cool to because I don’t know how to make that
Siu Veamatahau You're so cool! Glad you liked it! And remember, as with ALL Kool aid recipes, sugar is your friend! :)
Baking soda is what makes it even more fizzy, you can’t leave it out
Have you ever added any spirits to these drinks after adding the bomb?
How long will these stay good for?
Very neat!! New sub 🤗
Can’t wait to try this out!!
When I made them they keep growing getting bigger. Is there a way to keep them shaped like a ball?
Been there! Less water should do the trick 😉
Oh yeah
Ha!

@@soakeydokey8438 thank you!!
Hey Rue! Did you happen to try it with less baking soda? I’m really deterred by the baking soda notes and texture. 🥵
