When I listen to you talk you remind me of my first flight instructor. She was one of the best pilots I’ve ever known. That was in the early 90’s out of Angleton/Lake Jackson, TX. (KLBX) Brought back memories. Great videos. Best regards
I'm really enjoying your flying videos. Excellent work. I've tried making a view flying videos of my own and I can appreciate how challenging it can be. Well done!
2002, I trained in a 1973 C172 with 180 HP powerplant, constant speed prop, tuned exhaust, and 40 degrees of flaps. I swear that plane could almost hover with full flaps deployed. One did not need them all the time but it was nice to know you had them if you were too steep. Also, that engine could still perform a go around with full flaps deployed. I loved that plane. N20591.
Your videos are getting more “in the moment” feeling, getting better and better. The C150 tail wheel conversions are well known, but this c172 is a rare bird and nice that you have documented it. Just curious is that shield on camera 5 to keep it from overheating from the sun?
Thanks for the video. I believe if the tailwheel could be extended by 3-4 inches, that would bring the nose down but make more controllable like the tricycle version.
Hi there, heard from Bobby in his last video Patreon is now holding 40% of donated money, is a better way to support you as a channel member now? Or alternatively do you have something in the works like he just created? Thanks for any info love the continuous videos!!
A swept tail on a taildragger makes no sense at all. On the runway, there is even less projected rudder area than what's available on the nosewheel version. Purely a styling gimmick.

It’s so nice to see a host that’s not only a pilot but one that can handle a taildragger
Wow that looks in fantastic condition especially being 48yrs old. Great video

They gave it 40 degrees of flap for a reason! I love the flaps on older 172s, always used all of it.
Emma you do such a good job, I just love watching you fly girl.
Nice job Emma...beutiful C172 conversion.

Awesome pilot!

Better and Better Emma!
You should be able to turn the tai wheel while it is sitting stopped with the pedals, at least a littl bit.
Well done 👍
great as always bobbys lucky
The main gear is placed well forward of the C/G. This causes more weight to be placed on the empennage.
She already said that in the intro
@@flexairz TY for pointing out my negligence.

I heard that too. I’ll be in talks with Bobby this week and give yall an update soon!
if I keep watching I might have to go and find someone to take me up to the sky's.
Surprising the Birds could make for a BAD BAD DAY!!
Tail wheel springs aren't right I can see they are useless the way they are set.
I agree. The springs should be tight.
@FlyingDoodles >>> Great video...👍
Tighten those chains.
beautiful congratulation........
👍🏼👍🏻❤️
Full flaps = put it where you want it.
👍✅👏
