Great idea for a video, Juan.
I got a cheap one from Amazon. It's bladed, has two fans at the end. For $17, I was surprised how much air it moves. Here in the Midwest, it was over 100 degrees last weekend. It helped keep me cooler. It's not a complete solution for the heat, but it does help.
Great review!i ordered this item yesterday and excited to have them...
nice detailed honest review my friend.
your talking accent is really impressive! really nice delightful presentation ❤
What an interesting product. We're living in the future now!
Very good when at school even hot afternoons👍👍👍
Not just good review but an excellent one. Congratulations dor even mentioning the db(56) That's prety convincing.
Very helpful product.👍
Any experience on how this does keeping gnats/flies/mosquitoes from bothering your face?
So it doesn't have peltier module?
But why they mentioned on site that it has simiconductor cooling chip ?
For someone w hyperhidrosis, this is a must have. I'm just trying to find a cheap but good quality fans
@Ae Men If possible consider wearing a cooling buff from a sporting goods store. You can wet it with cold water and put it around your neck or freeze it like I do. It’s not suitable for every environment but helps for some.
Fk hyperhidrosis is already so hard to deal with and then add the fact that I live in a tropical country, it’s hell.
I got mine for only 30 bucks. If it lasts nearly as long as the $100+ brands I'm happy cause it definitely works
100% cotton, pull moisture from the body for rapid evaporation. I hear merino wool is similar. If you are in a low humidity environment, a wet towel around the neck will cool off a good amount as well
Neck fan = good.
Cooling towel = also good.
Neck fan + cooling towel = double good.
I saw this in a Reddit comment too. Do you put the cooling towel on your neck first and then the fan? Or can you wrap the cooling towel around the fan, and the air blows through the towel? I'm looking into a good solution because I get really hot at work and I'm also going to Japan this summer
@leahtheanimationfan40 Just wear the cooling towel on your neck. Then, use the fan normally.
Also a good old-fashioned soaking wet hat always does the trick to cool off in a pinch.
What a cool Juan.
Nailed it 😁
Where can i get it?
It was advertised as "adjustable" as far as the neck fit, but I think that was a bogus claim. Did you ever find a way to get yours to adjust closer around your neck?
I'm your biggest fan. Someone had to say it.
YYYYYYyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeesssssss!
How long do they actually last? I don’t trust the one on the labels.
How well does it cool the back of the neck? Does it actually shoot any air towards the back of the neck or is it only used to try and cool that back pad?
It's honestly the weakest spot on this model. You can feel some air make it back there, but the majority of the fan power is pointed forward and up.
Can you compair this to the older version and to the coolify 2? I just ordered the coolify 2 but I will return it if this one is comparable
Hows the Coolify? I have enough other fans and coolers to equal the price and plan on making a review video. Still waiting for my fa35pro to test a few days
Test coolify or some other product to compare , silent products sound like more interesting
Reminds me of that Sony neck speaker 😁
LOL! YUP!
Same lol
Is it an ac fan
For half a sec I thought Juan was going to talk about some sweet electronic horseshoes game. This is neat too though.
Oooh... Electronic horseshoes....
The brown one is prettier than the gray one.
I gave that one to Marie. I'm a good husband like that. 😄
Agreed 👍
@@SomeGadgetGuywhy would you get married as a guy now that's extremely dumb man hopefully the princess never wants a divorce
Sensitive to noise. Check. No liking air blow in the face. Check. Thanks for thorough review.
👍
Sorry about that hopefully you don't have hyperacusis or misophonia
FYI -- April, 2024 -- COSTCO has these for $49.99 a package of two!
Hello is there a teardown video. I just bought one recently and i think a strand of hair or thread. Got inside and it keeps making strange noise. Plz help if theres any instructions on how to clean it
Interesting but I doubt would make much difference in extreme heat.
Like I said, it doesn't cool, but if there' no breeze, this feels better than nothing.
@@SomeGadgetGuy that's because you forgot to add thermal paste and a heatsink to your neck.
@@SomeGadgetGuy agreed Juan, but in heat. that thing round your neck for me would be an extra irritant, possibly.
I mean... You could ask. I was wearing it in the high 90's...
I carry a little USB fan around and plug it in my power bank
does it fall while running?
No. But it did bounce off my collar bones uncomfortably...
switch running to cycling, much better... I used to be a runner for a couple of years
It looks more Professional then a.... Towel....
Interesting
Koreans love this st*t. It gets swampy over there.
They make a fee different models in different colours. Not sure why one would buy one in darker colours.
I found them to be very disappointing
Why ?
Useless comment. Explain???
I was shocked when i heard 90° in california. Lol.
Then i remember you are american and its F and not C 😂😂
LOL Yeah. We use "Freedom" units for measuring things 🤪
Indeed, cf the decimalised inches when it comes to screen sizes
I GOT A BETTER CHEAP ONE
THIS ONE HAS SMALLER BATTERY BUT MORE CHEAP
I think despite this gadgets intended purpose….. if this had an evaporative cooler function with a chilled water or regular water reservoir would prove quite beneficial on a warm and hot day 👍😇🥰. As it is now, I think it’s an incomplete gimmick 😢😱
for a humid environment, it wont work. it'll feel worse
"This product is just a gimmick! Let me imagine another product that completely doesn't exist! THAT would be better!"
@@SomeGadgetGuy I know you meant it as sarcasm, but truly I don't see the problem with that sentence? That's how a lot of products were made. "That's a nice idea, but let's make it better." type thing.
Rubbish scam
