Dean. thank you for taking the time to simplify the math. I have to imagine you have a few tricks to simplify ratio spreads and straddles (combos). Have you made any videos with the same examples given here with 2:1 spreads/straddles?
I don't because very low probability as a test issue. The way to attack more sophisticated strategies is tracking the money in and out as an initial set up and then plugging in the numbers offered in the answer set until one works. Process of elimination.

Dean when you refer you Sort inside,Long outside what numbers are you referring. Is it 121 short inside when you are profitable and Long outside 139 you are profitable.?
I am referring to the market price of the stock in relationship to the breakevens of the straddle. Short straddles are profitable if the market price of the stock is in-between the breakevens and long straddles are profitable if the market price of the stock is outside the breakevens. Do we need to know what is a diagonal or vertical spread? Kaplan questions keeps testing on this
Very low probability. Most of the questions will be vertical or price spreads.
