I did a muffler delete on my 2018 330i m sport and put new exhaust double tips that sounds really good. I also capped the exhaust actuator and zip tied it up and out the way.
Is it really loud and did you get any dash lights ? I’ve been thinking about doing this but I’m not sure on how to go about it because I don’t want it super loud.
Hi mate, just sharing my experience with exhaust conversion. I have Japan Import BMW F31 330i (2017) same year same model as you just turing/wagon. Recently I did the conversion to dual exhaust taken from BMW F30 340i 2016, so the exhaust pipe on my car was 75mm OD and pipe of the muffler from 340i was 80mm OD! Im not sure how your car have 80mm OD and mine 75mm OD as we have identical car unless have something to do with market spec (different for US and different for Japan) but that's weird just for 5mm, why would bmw change that for different markets!! But after all that "trouble" the car sound way louder and better especially when changing gears manually in sport+, and your right the video sound can't replicate that.
@@BMWF30LOVERS-cp1yr I tried with clams but they never are same as OD what I need it, my experience is I just wasted money on clamps and they never worked as they should ,my car wouldn't pass WOF (certificate what you need to obtain every year in my country that the car its legal to drive on the road),so the only option for me was to weld it without me experiment more and waste more money!
I believe it should. I haven’t had any issues with it so far. I gotta say tho, maybe welding it would be better because I’m not sure if the clamp will give an absolute perfect seal. But still easier for a DIY solution
Great content! I wondering if putting a connector for the muffler will hold up instead of doing welding ? Also does this exhaust will work on 320i lci ? (It had no valves from factory)
I can’t say for sure. If it has a similar exhaust just a different tip, I’d imagine so. You probably won’t be able to use the valve actuator but maybe just leave it open
@@Oakleyicon I have no exhaust leaks. You could make it more permanent and get an exhaust shop to weld it but I prefer it to be easily reversible. It does not have to be a super exact match because the clamp with compensate for the remainder
Hey i have a question, i hope you will see this. Does this rear bumper come with all bmw 330i's or only the msport ones? I mean the rear bumper that u can remove the diffuser and put the 340i diffuser. Some bmw's have a one piece rear bumper and not a removable one.

It's dual exhaust like the 340 muffler, and design looks the same as the stock 330, but the actuator valve thing is on the opposite side. I'm tempted to get it to see if it'll fit

This exhaust should have been the setup for the 330i from factory. I’m not a big fan of the dual exhaust on one side

I think either one would work! It’s an interchangeable part, as long as you plug it in, either will work
