2023 was Sleep Token's year without any doubt. They didn't just blow the roof off, they blew the whole fucking building off. This band went from a supporting act and playing 500 seats venues as a headliner (by the end of 2022) to selling out their whole world tour and playing 6000 seats venues within just a few months.! And they deserve the whole world...
2023 Sleep Token has changed me in so many ways. They literally make you ascend to another level when you hear them. I wish nothing but happiness for Sleep Token. May they forever create for us to consume and worship.

I‘m listening to ST since 2018 and saw them five times live, three times this year. Speaking about the audience this year, the shows were the worst I’ve seen in ages. The crowds were always so embarrassing and annoying. This band deserves every possible success, but their newly fanbase is just a total pain in the ass. Already far worse than this annoying circus that also surrounds the band Ghost. Ghost lost a lot of fans from day one (including me) because of all these fanatics that hopped onto the train during the last 5-6 years. And there are already a lot of ST fans from day one who hate what this newly fanbase makes of this band. Enjoy, love and cherish their music but please, keep yourself calmed down and don‘t get fanatic about them. It ruins the joy of liking and loving their music. Peace.
@@godscoldhands77 yeah honestly when I love a band, I LOVE a band… but I’m not a d!ck about it 😆 the last band I felt this passionately about was Tool, when I first discovered them waaaaaay back in 2001 (still love them btw). I am not a person who goes to a lot of concerts/shows, either… the last kind of bigger show I went to was Big Gigantic in 2016, before that was Nateva festival in my hometown in 2010, and before that was Tool in 2007. But I do want to see them live at least once. Feels a crime not to.

I started off just being obsessed with The Summoning but with each play through of Take Me Back To Eden I find more and more to love about the whole album.
It's really just ii and Vessel. Iiii & iv are just touring members. On the Albums Vessel does everything sorry of the drums, ii covers that (obvs). They truly are incredible.
"WHY ARE YOU NEEVVVVVVEER REALLLLLLLLLL!" my favorite track on the album. Not as intricate as something like the Summoning or Take me Back to Eden but this one just hits different.
I don't think it's the best on the album, that'd have to be the title track, but it is my favorite, especially that moment. After months and hundreds of listens it still gives me chills every single time.
We NEED to hear Euclid with a full orchestra. There’s actually a guy that has made his own orchestral arrangements and added them to Sleep Token songs, his channel is Jamie Turton, and his version of Euclid is sublime. It just sounds like it was meant to be.
This is the song that absolutely broke me. This whole album came at a time I needed it the most but this song... rudely accurate for what I was feeling. I'll be getting a tattoo of the line, "just let me go or take me with you" in the ST alphabet

i have one complain to this specific song... it's short! lol. they knew they wrote a beautiful song and it being written that way will leave audience wanting more and more. that's why their songs stick so much and us listeners keep one song on repeat sometimes... and the whole album is a banger!
WHY ARE YOU NEVER REAL..... Def a fave for me. Like some other people have said, I think this is the most underrated song on the album and I really hope it gets concert time in the new year 😍
That line is just so deep, it’s not just the lyrics or the delivery but notice how low the guitar is chugging when he says REAL. I believe these guys play in drop D1 which is an entire octave plus a step down from standard guitar tuning. You just can’t get much lower than that and the absolute heaviness of the tone really underscores the weight of the line “why are you never real”. That chug there is one of my favorite parts of the song
This also happens to be an amazing song for testing audio equipment, especially imaging, detail and seperation when everything hits towards the end. It hit my top listened to songs purely because I was testing IEMs with it. Entire song has it all, multiple genres, not too long, can get a really good sense of and IEM or headphone from this song alone. Not just that he sings in a low register and then later higher, so you can test it for vocal too.

It's like Goth rnb. It's Sleep token, there's no genre😅They're coming back to tour,so far it's a festival near Vegas? Radio city music hall, and sonic fest in Columbus Ohio so far.
The most incredible band I've found ages. The application of all of these different styles, poetic lyrics, and a truly otherworldly craft for creating songs that transcend time and space sonically... A sound broader than can believed in a room larger than imagination. Their production and sonic approach is second to nothing.

Honestly that whole album is a masterpiece listened to from beginning to end and a nice cap on what seems to be an album trilogy. I feel the pain that he carries and they transport you to that place so well and convey those feelings like experts.

2 is a monster absolutely the power and time the feels. Not to keen on the doom lyrics but how they do what they do is very very good. And I'm an old guy,but listen to music a long time, these guys are good. The look it could have been just a gimmick. But with the power and feel of the music it works. I mean at this point I couldn't see them going on stage without it. 👍🏿👍🏿💯
