I’m not overwhelmed by the world because I know that it is written. What I’m overwhelmed with is debt and the illness and salvation of my adult son. I know the time, I’m trying to make my son understand the importance of salvation and to stay out of bankruptcy until He comes.

At the Rapture, the world will not see Him coming...it will happen in the blink of an eye. At the second coming, all will behold His coming. But the second coming scripture was ascribed to the rapture here.

Where does the bible teach a pre-trib rapture?
The reason is that Jesus took the wrath of the Father so we don't have to. The 7 years of tribulation is the wrath of God on this earth. Thus we will not be here to suffer the wrath of God. Hope that helps

You have been deceived by pre-trib teachers. In 1Thes 5:9 Paul said we are not appointed to wrath. Paul DID NOT say we are not appointed to 7 YEARS OF WRATH. This is how pre-trib teachers deceive the unlearned. (For lack of study) So, what did Paul really mean??? Well, he tells us in Rm2:5 DAY OF WRATH. Just like the entire bible teaches. Rev6:17 DAY OF WRATH. Zeph 1:15,18 DAY OF WRATH Also, DAY of the Lord. Just like Peter taught. 2Pt3:10. Why else would JESUS say he would RAISE (Resurrect) Believers on the LAST DAY? Jn6:39-40,44,54. The Book of Daniel is clear on the 70 weeks. 69 have been fulfilled. There is one week left which is a 7 year period. Rev 3:10 refers to the tribulation and us being kept from it. Isaiah
26:20, refers to this as well as Roman's 5: which shows us we are saved from wrath. Revelation 6:16 shows us that this is the wrath of the lamb. We will have to see who is properly dividing the Word of God correctly. I'm sure it won't be long till we know. In Christ. Ed

Dan 9:27 And he shall CONFIRM THE COVENANT with many for one week. And in the middle of the week. STOP right there. This is the middle of the week. Where do you see even a HINT at 7 years of tribulation??? Also, the antichrist NEVER CONFIRMS the covenant with ANYONE. There are TWO Covenants. Heb8:6-10 Both from God. So, who is this that CONFIRMS? 1Cor 1:6,8/ Gal 3:17. Then you say Rev3:10 Teaches a 7 year tribulation. REALLY? What time period do you see in that verse? NOT 7 years. This is how pre-tribers TWIST every verse to fit their belief. Like YOU did. 1Thes 5:9 Paul said we are not appointed to wrath. Paul DID NOT say we are not appointed to 7 YEARS of wrath. 2 Peter 3: 3-4 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”

Or read the bible. Jesus states in Rev 3 and paul in 1 thes 5 that Jesus returns like a thief to the world not to His who are watching as instructed. His return is not imminent. Matt 24 He clear says a bunch of things are birth pains but when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet flee etc. Plus He says after the great trib He returns . But if you go read Dan it gives the specific things to look for and the exact time frames, given in months, days and years. (Repeated in Rev). Ie Jerusalem surrounded by 10 nations etc. Antichrist brings in 7 year peace deal, half way breaks it and enters the temple to defile it and then slaughters Jews and Christian’s (abomination making desolate) for 3.5 years. Then Jesus comes back, His meet Him in the air and return with Him as He sets the captives of the trib free, slays the wicked etc and restores the throne of David establishing His kingdom! A very brief summary. So it’s not imminent, much ch must happen and we must watch for the things He tells us to watch as continually instructed.
Ask for money again
