I have no idea what that thing by the toilet is ... But I know 1,000% I'd be using that little bar to put my foot on while I shave my legs 🙂 have fun on your vacation a brand new ship wow I'm looking forward to seeing what you show us I don't have anything in particular that I'd want to see on a cruising ship. It's all new to me I've never been on a overnight cruise 🙂
Agree with the leg shaving bar. I'm guessing the weird little bar by the toilet is for a handicap bar to be added as needed which would slip on and fold down so you could push down on it to help get to a standing position.
I love the details you gave of each section..it gives someone like me to feel like I'm there with you..looking forward to coming on board next yr...you gained a subscriber...
Oh my@ Best video ever ! Thank you sooo much. Yes I would Ike go see in future videos....the laundry room . Show the laundry family with ironing board...type of iron to know if starch is needed and laundry machines for detergent and if coins are needed and how much. Please and thank you.
This ship is setup just like the Mardi Gras I guess. We stayed in 5465 on their ship and it was the same setup and location. I loved it! We let Carnival pick the room and this is what we got.
I’ve heard a lot of good things about Cove Balconies. Are they cheaper than a regular balcony? Do they have them on the starboard and port sides? And if so which side is better?
I like that the phone is mounted to the wall so as to save that precious counter space ETA: "Looks like a photo of some underwater fish", as opposed to those ever-present above water fish 🐟😅
Dismayed to see that even on the new ships, Carnival STILL doesn't have outlets by the bed. When you use a CPAP, you have get the steward to get an extension cord (or bring your own) and then tape the extension cord along the ceiling so you don't trip on it.
On the XL class they have USB ports on both sides of the bed as shown in the video and on the Venezia on one side of the bed but you're correct about full outlets, likely the kind most CPAPs would need
I think the handle by the toilet is a grab bar for those that need an assist getting up. The bar in the shower is for propping up your leg for shaving. Pretty common on most ships. I would have split this into two videos. One a much shorter tour of just the cabin. And another with the other details you are sharing.
The leg shaving thing makes sense, not sure about the bar though given it's position We have an Extended Balcony tour coming soon that will be much more succinct
Ok. Video. I honestly just needed to see the balcony and did not need all the details about what the soap looked like. It was a bit annoying TBH. Too much giggling. But, thank you for showing us thee cabin.
Folks had specifically requested a detailed tour so they could see everything, we don't usually get into that much detail. For example this video of an extended balcony is much less thorough ruclips.net/video/YSWN9Ch0eA4/видео.html
They changed the door sign before Covid. My thought is kids would come along and flip the sign over (requesting service) when in fact the people may be sleeping.
@@VacationImpossible fortunately we caught the switch-a-roo before the cabin steward saw it in the morning, because we put the sign on the door before we would head out for the night. That's the only reason I knew. Then again I blamed kids but some adults are just as bad.

It figures 3 guys couldn't figure out the leg shaving 😜

Interesting
Hey, I appreciate all the detail in this video just booked a Cove for 2024. Ciao for Now!
Awesome! Have a great cruise 🙂
Yes! I will be on there soon. I have a balcony room. Much needed vacation!
Have a great cruise 🙂
Can’t wait till January! Cove Balconies are our favorite.
They're awesome, nice and close to the water 🌊
Finally...the hair dryer is not on a short cord that cannot be moved!
Progress 👍🙂
Wow, really looking forward to my trip in May. Wonderful and lovely room. Balcony is great for privacy.
Yea it's great 👍
Great video. I just booked a cove balcony on the Carnival Jubilee (deck 5). Can't wait. I've always had balconies on higher decks.
Have a great cruise! 🙂
Did you find deck 5 loud from the activity from deck 6?
Nope

Thank you so much for your kind words 😊
Thanks for the thorough video. I appreciate all the info
You're welcome 🙂
Did you notice more rocking since you were so close to the water and what about the noise above you?
Neither was an issue at all 🙂
Love the video. I'm looking forward to my Cruisr in January. Some videos of some of the food in the restaurants would be cool! Thanks Enjoy!
You got it! We just booked Teppanyaki and the steak house 😉

They're the same class but also 😮 what are the odds you were in the same cabin on the sister ship! The internet is amazing sometimes
I’ve heard a lot of good things about Cove Balconies. Are they cheaper than a regular balcony? Do they have them on the starboard and port sides? And if so which side is better?
They're cheaper and on both sides of the ship
@@VacationImpossible thanks!

Good point about the efficient use of desk space
I love the cove balcony
It's a favorite of ours 🙂
Awesome video!! Thank you!! Trying to make the decision on a cove balcony or a reg balcony.
Personally I prefer a Cove Balcony
Is there a narrow ledge behind the king size bed?
There's a night table
@@VacationImpossible would you remember how deep it is? Like can I put a cup on it or little decorations behind the bed?
A cup on the night stand? Yes. On the window sill, no

Wonder what being on the balcony is like on high waves. THAT would be cool.
After a certain point they lock the balconies so you can't go out ☹️
good review.
Thanks 🙂
Gotta make sure i don't stump my toe on dranking night 😂
#Facts
It kept my wine ❄️
Good enough, or at least cold enough, for me 😉

Small bar at the bottom shower when you shave your leg and place ur leg then shave them femaleextra bar
Figures a team of 3 dudes wasn't able to clock that 😉

It’s a stateroom tour not a balcony tour😊
@dbaby9361 It's a balcony stateroom
Thank you now I now what I going to get😄😄😄
Have a great cruise! 😀
Welcome
They changed the door sign before Covid. My thought is kids would come along and flip the sign over (requesting service) when in fact the people may be sleeping.
My theory is they changed then when they cut back frequency of turndown service
@@VacationImpossible This happened even before that. We had ours switched one night , so that why I'm saying what I said.
Interesting 🤔

Good thing you caught it!
Doesn't seem that close to the water like deck 2 on pride or vista
Probably because it's a bigger ship
Hi Mike, saw you in the mirror
Hi Tamara, thank you says The Man In The Mirror
Red level free water bar resturant and room attendant ask them for ur room
I don't like to bother my steward, plus it's an excuse to visit a bar 🍻😉
Yes iam red level. Six cruise already
Housekeeper use the toilet bowl to clean the toilet after guest use them in their cabin
👍
Yes they have it on carnival sunrise we all were on that vessel. Beautiful vessel
It's a toilet paper holder
Awkward placement
You were so incredibly annoying !
What was annoying about me?
This is tedious...
It's detailed. Folks requested more detail on our previous tours. The upcoming Extended Balcony tour will be more succinct
Paul, there’s an exit button…. Didn’t have to watch! 🙄
@@fofita17 I did exit, because I couldn't watch any longer.
What's your point?
@@boundingmaynard what’s YOUR point leaving a rude comment? 🙄
@@fofita17 my point was an honest opinion which I stand by. If you feel it was rude, that's on you. I stand by my opinion.
