I have watched videos on RUclips that are Crowley's writings and books (narrated audio books). Book of Law, Book of Lies, Magic Without Tears etc. His writings are cryptic and confusing to say the least. I have posted asking what do his writings mean and I never get an responses. My suspicions are that most people - don't know what Crowley is saying as well.
Even Crowley said to understand my work one must be familiar with the basics of magick, like the Golden Dawn, You just don't pick up one of his books and expect to understand it. You must be grounded in basic theurgy. True knowledge can't be taught, it can only be realized.
You only chose the poorest platform of the day to have something profound shown to you . Like trying to take in the magnitude of the grand canyon through a jewelers loupe.
