Db2 Tutorial: The Basics and Writing COBOL Programs (z/OS, OS/390, MVS/ESA)

Now with fixed audio! This video covers the basics of using Db2 on an MVS system. I also go over the DB2ADM dialog, SPUFI and DB2I, as well as writing a COBOL program. The BIND stuff and the DCLGEN stuff is kinda confusing, but, I tried to cover it as good as I could. It's pretty long, so, skip around as much as you'd like. This was done on an ancient OS/390 image, but, the instructions still apply these days. I employed a variety of clever tricks to make things look faster than they really are, so, if your mainframe is slow or heavily loaded-down, you might find that Db2 BINDs and DCLGENs take a while.
