@HumanDesignWithDeniseMathew Thank you so much, Denise 🙏 Before coming across Human Design (sometime in the beginning of 2018), I used my intuitive feeling(this gut feeling Ra spoke about so intensely). Even when my mind - the trickster was playing its most vicious games on me, I was aware of my sacral response. I was getting involved in much banter with this trickster 😅😆, just so I make sure I've explored its wildest trips before I give into this majestic authority of mine. I adore human design and all that it has affirmed to me. As well as all it has though me! As a 5/2 Generator with LAX of Spirit 2, I am infinitely grateful for perceving the gifts of this unconcous line 2 and mostly for implementing them in times of greater hardships and tests. I have heard in the science community, that science doesn't move on from current theories (particularly physics) until certain (topdog) Scientists die.
This seems to go along with what you are pointing out, I am sure.

I tracked this and the eclipses that pushed my placements up (exaltation) brought good events, and the ones that pushed my placements down (detriment) brought bad events. I think all that talk about "it's just an experience" is for the spiritual folk, who realize every experience is here to teach us (even bad ones) rather than being genuinely neutral to regular people.
It’s great that you had some real world experiences with how the transits play out because you had a world view of the energy. Keep in mind that the whole world is reacting or interacting with the transits most of whom don’t know about the energy, so they react without awareness. If you have a detriment or exaltation so do alot of others. The whole point of seeing how it’s playing out is so it can give you a heads up so you can adjust accordingly because yes, a lot of times there are people expressing bad behavior all around you. We are always part of the global aura and that means dealing with all the energy as it comes. The reason why I say it’s not bad or good is because the detriments and exaltations are not deterministic you decide how you express the energy but that doesn’t mean that others are going to chose to bring their best foot forward. And yes, all experiences allow us to grow but that doesn’t mean that it’s “just an experience” when things get tough, life can be challenging sometimes and all you can do is get through it and hope that life gets easier.

i’m curious as to if there is more to the fixing than Ra had time to reveal. Of the three detriments on my chart, I resonate with two of them very deeply.. but the third detriment not at all, and it’s one that’s realtively easy to observe but i just do not relate to it.
i speculate there may be two reasons for this: one, it’s fixed because of the harmonic planet; and two, it’s my north node. (to my knowledge, i don’t think the nodes ever fix lines themselves).
it could just be a gap in my self-awareness; but i wonder if the nodes not being physical bodies impacts how strong the fixing is with them, as well as how fixing by a harmonic as opposed to the placement itself will present itself. i just feel like there would be more nuance in how it plays out depending on how lines ends up fixed in a chart-since there are different ways for this to happen.
Yes, absolutely there is much more to learn and I am always searching for more of Ra’s work but because Human Design is so vast it’s hard to sift through all of it but I have the gate 13 activated by my Design Moon so I’m always being led to secrets that matter to me. You’re right the Nodes don’t fix a line on their own. And you bring up a good point of a line being fixed though a specific planet in the line or alternatively a planet transiting through the harmonic and fixing it and if they express slightly different. I know that Design and Personality fixings can feel different from one another but the harmonic angle is another interesting study. Thanks for sharing.

You can get a line fixed if the planet is in the same center or the other end of the channel, so it's likely that energy is still around, tho maybe not in the same numbers.
Yes, agreed but some fixings, exaltations and detriments are completely out of play right now. In regard to the harmonic and bringing an exaltation or detriment it also has to have a Neptunian or Plutonic activation. For instance the gate 45, the harmonic to gate 21 can’t bring an exaltation or detriment that is activated by Pluto to the gate 21 because there are no lines activated by Pluto. It can reactivate the gate 21.3 and the 21.2 because it has a Neptunian activation. Neptune hasn’t been in the gate 45 in over 100 years. I’m not sure about a planet being in the same center bringing an activation, it’s not something I’ve seen based on Ra’s work but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
@@HumanDesignWithDeniseMathewI for example have Pluto in 44.2 and it gives me a detriment to the 26.2 at the other end of the channel, it doesn't require for Pluto to be in a plutonic line at the other end of the channel. As for gates in the same center, it works the same, with the condition that the center is active. So for instance, with my Pluto in 44, if I had the 32.6 active, it would be exalted, because it's a pluto exalted line. However, it is true that Ra said when the exaltation or detriment of a line is missing from the world completely, it is different. It's unclear exactly how different. Does it mean an indirect fixing of the line doesn't work properly if no one in the world has that fixed directly? I don't think anybody knows exactly.
P.S. I also have the moon in 8.2 and the earth in 45. The 8.2 is Earth detriment, however, because the throat is undefined, I do not get the detriment fixing of the 8.2
On the other hand, I have Mars in 63.1 and Jupiter in 63.4. I get the detriment of both lines, even tho only the 63.1 is Mars detriment, and EVEN THO the head center is undefined - just because they are in the same gate. Fixing is quite tricky to calculate in HD..
Yes, we’re saying the same thing. Both the gate 26 and 44 have lines that are fixed by Pluto. Yes, it doesn’t require that Pluto is in the Plutonic line only that it’s’ in the gate. I’ve only seen detriments and exaltation with harmonics, not centers or circuits. As far as the gate 32.6 that would only be active if Pluto transits either the gate 32 or the 54, not the 44 because it’s only harmonics that activate detriments and exaltations. I’m going on Ra’s work, there are some good audio recordings on Jovian you can check out if you’re interested. I also play with charts to see if my theories work. Yes, it can be complex to see the way it works so it’s been a lot of study on my part and I’m still learning and probably always will be. Having a defined or undefined center doesn’t affect a detriment or exaltation. It can affect how the gate expresses overall because it’s dormant and not always “turned on”. The detriment of the gates 63.1 and 63.4 makes sense because if Mars is in the gate 63 it brings the detriment to gates 63.1,63.4 and 63.5, so any planet or even node transiting through those lines with Mars in the gate 63 automatically are in detriment unless it’s a planet that brings an exaltation. Mars just needs to be in a gate and it can bring the detriment or exaltation to any line it influences even if it’s not in the line.

How does Human Design differ from Astrology?
Human Design has 64 gates, and 384 lines that go around a Mandala that looks similar to an astrological wheel, it also has a bodygraph that is similar to a chakra system but it’s also very different. There is astrology in Human Design in that all the gates have an astrological range of degrees in each of the signs. Human Design is a synthesis of many things that make it unique in the depth of the interpretation that you can get from it.
