- The Indigenous Land Corporation's Roebuck Export Depot near Broome, in Western Australia, was specifically designed as a low stress environment for the preparation of cattle for the live cattle export trade. Cattle spend up to a week at the depot where they are given health checks and adjusted to the onboard feed and other animals they'll be travelling with. Before leaving the Depot on trucks for the 30km trip to Broome, the cattle have a final check from an accredited veterinarian to ensure they are in prime condition for their journey to Indonesia on a specialist livestock transport ship.
