Valerie Steele's speaking style and erudition draw me into listening to and watching videos of her lectures. I'm no fashionisto, but this convinces me more and more that fashion is, indeed, part of the arts and Art.

I would have liked to ask if La Vie en Rose even came up on her research at all. Wonderful topic that seems to have many branches to explore.

Very interesting & well done! Growing up "pink" was a bastard color or "very" fashion !

We couldn't hear the questions :( The sound system is problematic. #museumatfit should be careful if it wants to upload this kind of video on RUclips.

Unfortunately Dr. Valerie is just focus on Europe and a bit of Asia, very limited perspective of the use of pink in fashion. Ancient cultures in South America use the pink centuries before in Europe and North America.

But right now it's not cool. But wait. OK, it's cool again. No. Just a sec... Kim just insta'ed Rhirhi about her failed Fenty and Gucci are pulling all pink frills. Now it's literally iconically like ick.

The millenial pink thing is partly due to the cheapness of the dye at industrial scales - much like the trend for skinny stretch leg coverings continues because manufacturers get way way more product stretched over fat westerners with it. $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Pink usually looks better on men. I do not mean babies

The use of the word gender here is deeply outdated, even for 2018
