easynow1337 here with the best thunder cage build will change from player to player but using a lot of the same best modules for thunder cage in the first descendant and then adding some unique mods that you like, will be awesome for you as a player.
How to get the thunder cage and upgrade / level up the thundercage is fairly straight forward, and everything you need for that is in the game
the first descendant thunder cage upgrades unique ability to 4 pips, allowing for more damage and better reload time
the first descendant thunder cage mounting reactor will help dramatically with skill damage also
while the first descendant thunder cage best build is left up to the individual, i think this has a good selection of mods
the first descendant thunder cage level up is easy to do also, and make the gun stronger
thunder cage best build / thunder cage mods are easy to come by too to make the dps better
thunder cage modules / thunder cage best mods are easy to upgrade also!

i have everything on, only thing not maxed out is electric enhancment, barely touching 100k crits. i have the thundercage maxed out too, gold crit hit dmg, firearm atk, and colossus, purple toxic for now....
I just started not too long ago so there's a lot idk, I'm just curious how is ur mod cost so low
@@MrNightmare1365 you can use an item called crystallisation catalyst, this allows you to put an icon onto one of the slots. Any mod that matches that icon, will be halved.
Every time you use a catalyst you reset to level 1, you can only use them at level 40
You can grind for the items and research the catalyst, or pay for them, which I did.

@@enesis5472looks like to get 400k crits he has the lab enemy set to lvl 1 - with this build on with slightly different rolls I'm hitting 145k crits on lvl 100 enemies in lab
I have two fewer polarized slots but the only difference mod-wise is I have about 10% less weak point damage from the mod, and don't have weak point damage on the random rolls
Just a small note weakpoint damage also counts towards the explosions from the thundercage as well. So if you kill a mob with a weakpoint hit the thundercages explosion will also be buffed from that

Been doing the same but have ran into some knuckleheads who would purposely not allow me to help. Today, am Ajax was being azz and I wrote in chat... I got an invite from the two others saying to forget about him lol.
I think i was the bunny player in that grupp 😂
speaking of that. My inventory bag says I have 205 out of 370 slots used (under consumables) but its now sending stabilizers to my mail bcuz my inventory is apparently full ???
yeah but randoms cant read the room. They can see 3 ppl hiding behidn the wall, waltz right in and start blasting without letting you stealth
I'm a bit confused. I've got the same mods all leveled to max, on a maxed out thunder cage and yet I'm seeing nowhere near your numbers. The only difference I can see is that my rerolled stats are different - I've got gold stats in weak point damage, crit hit rate, crit hit damage and firearm atk. Highest crit I'm seeing is around 170k.
Edit: found the issue. The faction you are testing against determines the damage you deal. When testing against order of truth I hit for 445k, but against legion of immortality I hit for 174k and 150k against legion of darkness. It's probably worth mentioning that in the video otherwise ppl like me are gonna be coming back to you with questions.
Edit 2: with real life fighter I'm hitting for 566k

If you're playing on PC, weakpoint is 100% important since head shots against regular mobs are considered weakpoint. This game's shots is also hit scan (no travel time) so you can literally one crit hit trash groups with this.

I mean ppl can aim on console right? Weakpoint is a untapped multiplier therefore the most bang for your buck after crit is over saturated. Remember that Thundercage explosion dmg is based on the kill dmg and therefore, you kill with a weakpoint crit - it scales that!

I have turned it to almost off, and if an enemy gets close to me, my character aims directly down to the floor lol
So headshots are weak point on pc only but not console?
@@1div2agent74 it's a weakpoint for both but if you're modding for dmg while sacrificing recoil and accuracy its a lot harder. I played on PS5 as well (and I'm sure there are plenty of people who are much better at controller than I am) I had a hell of a time with it. Especially trying to pick out the weaker one in the pack so you can one shot it to trigger thundercage's bunny aoe
Kyle is a monster. Tanky shieldy boy, nearly unkillable, and one of the few cool guys that flies full-speed into the explosion instead of walking away!

I'd change Focus Fire and "Electric Enhancement" for Reload Focus and "Concentration Stabilizer" for a more balanced build. These last two mods even out the reduced reload time and recoil from "Concentration Priority" and "Action and Reaction", while still buffing the critical hit damage.
Unless you're going for an intercept battle ofcourse
Not needed, you can animation cancel the reload after 1/3 of the reload bar to fill up the mag. And Elemental enhancement are a big damage increase and a must have.
No longer a 5 minute cooldown on the strategic outposts. Got reduced to 1 minute as of the patch yesterday, much easier to farm em now.

freyna is absolutely my favorite descendant from playstyle to design to voice lines she is genuinely so fun to play and when/if they ever release ultimate freyna im going to grind it out asap

Another good reason for you to use electric enhancement is because if an enemy steps in your water they are weaker to electric, thought i'd mention that (if you do later in the vid my bad im only at 6:35
My favorite descendant is Bunny obviously for the great ASSETS she brings to the table.
My favorite descendant is torn between valby and Enzo. valby because I like how she can lock down an area and is good at basically everything. I like Enzo for his team buff and making the annoying vaults easier
My fav is probably gley because everything in her kit works so well together
consider switching [focus fire] with [have aiming], a little bit more damage for less accuracy
Was curious.. have you looked into doing fire enhancement mod instead of electric. There is a gold mod- fire conductor- when attacking enemies inflicted with burn, Firearm ATK +26%. I was thinking it could be great synergy. Having the 30% fire attack added based off your firearm, but your firearm increases again by 26%.
Managed to roll my TG stats- firearm crit dmg (purp) 33.4%
Fire ATK (gold) 1204
Firearm Crit Rate (gold) 13.1%
Attribute status trigger rate (gold) 23.7%.
I would add crit chance instead of toxic. That just make sense to me. Upgrade module fire, toxic, electric, and equity it depending on boss weaknesses
Ajax is my favorite descendent. He reminds me of Great Value version of the titan in Destiny.
I love Ajax a lot so far, being tanky and using him situationally he's great, currently researching Gley though :)
Gley is so awesome dude. I need to far he ultimate. No matter the colossi I drop 40mill plus everytime and it's not even ultimate gley. I farmed out ultimate bunny, and ultimate lepic. Ultimate gley is like all 6$ chance though. It's gonna be a bit rough
Love the video! Gley is my favorite because I can make the python into an infinite AC-130, but Viessa is a close second lol
Love Bunny’s play style I would definitely take Ultimate Bunny.
Valby is my favourite because with duration and enough damage you can spawn kill enemies easily
Enzo and Valby have to be my two favorite characters, the ability to resupply ammo at any time on Enzo and the maneuverability and crit of Valby.
Bunny is so far my Fav, just because of the quick movement speed... and other reasons ;)
Would kill to have ultimate Ajax. I've spent thousands of hours on Warframe, maining rhino prime. Haven't played for almost a decade now, but Ajax just brings back all those high-school memories :')
Personal favorite is Freyna. She's just so much fun to use and lock down areas with.
Though bunny is fun just because she's quick
My favorite descendent is Valby for a few reasons. She is great at 98% of activities, and she’s hella cute. But most of all, she’s my favorite because they showed Overwatch’s Juno up as a brand new game 😂
Freyna is one of my favorites, nothing like a toxic relationship.

My Thunder Cage is socket 8 times. So i only have Electric Enhancement at Lv4 right now.
Going to socket Forcus fire, And leave last socket free, So i can change between damage type (XXXX Enhancement Module)
Think i get them to Lv9 with that.
Got my first solo hard mode Devourer on Valby with it...

I was on the bunny bandwagon at first but freyna is a killing machine. Easy to spread poisons and just hold the trigger
My favorite decendant is Valby. Not only does she bake but she can teach me how to swim as well.
Blair's been my fav so far, mostly because I mishear him whenever he says "It's cookin' time!"
I think those mods are overlooked because many people don't understand the difference between X% increased, and +X%. They stack multiplicatively and you want a balance of both. That +6.5% crit damage is an insane increase but people will see the ~75% increased crit damage and say "why would I want 6.5 when I'm already getting 75"
I love the Thunder cage. I did like you, reduced the DPS so I can hit harder with crit.
I have 36,7% firearm crit dam. :)
Am curious, I have bonus firearm ATK vs colossus and vs Legion, are those worth keeping?
My 4th is firearm ATK 11% The only real difference is yours add electric atk equal to 30% of firearm atk. I need to use 1 more catalyser so I can push mine from 13% to 30%
To anyone hesitating to invest the time to build this, please don't it's worth every hours spent building it...
Gley is my favorite rn, but I really like Lepic as well. Big dps :)
Sharen is my favorite. I’ve met a lot of people being able to do outposts.
Gley is my fav been farming for the ultimate but unfortunately am very unlucky…she’s prefect for the bosses

Lepic is my fav. Just the sheer difference in being able to farm collosi. He was what I was looking forward to in the game

favourite descendant is blair, cause i do love fire a lot and having a COOK that is an arsonist, i just like that idea a lot lot lot and i just as much like that blairs fireball is a mini nuke with truly deadly cuisine
`Concentrate support ammo` module gives only +7 rounds to the clip and we have a long reloading time. I replaced it with `Reload focus` - it gives us faster reloading and +2 free points of energy capacity. This allows us to have a free slot without catalyst for any elemental module at 16 capacity.
Stats on the gun i tweaked - fire arm atk, crit rate, crit hit damade, extra collosus attack. Because I have no problem with normal mobs or mission bosses. But the extra damage for the collosus will help, especially since the Thunder cage is most likely the first gun that you will maximize and take with you on boss fights.
That's a good point, but what's nice is that you can cut the reload time in half or more by rolling when the reload animation gets to about 40-50%. I tried replacing Concentrate Support with Reload Focus and you really notice those missing rounds when you run out of ammo much sooner.
Favorite Descendant so far is Gley. Multi-missile, mega-blaster, mother-goose! Her playstyle is simple, yet has some mastery to it and I just like that simplicity. I also like that she isn't totally over-sexualized like most of the other females are, but that's just me getting easily distracted :D
Would love Ultimate Ajax, Nothing more satisfying than reviving a bunny in an AOE that just one shot them, And not even seeing my HP bar move :))

Huge fan of valby and her 'bubbly' personality, love teleporting I just wish there wasn't an animation lock when we do
you could prob. drop one of the crit chance mods and put on electric gunbarrel, boosts the dmg of electric even more but only works if combined with enhancement

any max lvl element enhancement mod (i bought 2 tabs for thunder cage layouts to be lazy and click for what i need farming wise. for bosses i just change the enhancement)
Probably not the best build you can do but I like it. I assume it will be around 6 months to a year before we see the best build.
I really enjoy how you do not stop playing with your build by the way! Please try out this as I assume you get more playtime. Let me know if you manage a higher amount.

My Thunder Cage build is pretty much identical to this. Only real difference is that I didn't do the third M slot, instead choosing to leave one slot un-typed so that I could swap to any element easily rather than picking one and being locked into it even when what I'm fighting is highly resistant. In my testing, blue mods for rounds per mag and fire rate were better than purple ones. 6.5% crit dmg when you're well into diminishing returns just isn't better than going from 30% to 42.9% RpM, or 20 to 25% fire rate.
Also, I think the best use of the second X slot is Firing Fiesta (or Electric Conductor when using it on Bunny). In your case with that extra M, I'd look into Sweeping Squad too. Especially if you're using the gun for mostly non-colossus fighting I think it would be a lot more damage than Focus Fire. And that goes double when playing with a gamepad since aim assist is so atrocious in this game.
I love bunny she's just so pretty. and i love her boink boink as annoying as it can be for my teammates hahaha (even when i end up knocking myself by blowing up the gas tanks)

This gun has carried me through so much of the game. in valby's hands it absolutely melts. I got really lucky that I got yellow crit rate and electric damage and a purple crit rate, as well has a yellow hip fire accuracy which is honestly a sacrifice I am willing to make.
You reckon I should wait for Ultimate Valby. I have Ultimate Bunny but not invested anything in to her yet. Torn between her and valby.
@@JEFFROM2S it is a huge boost to mastery to still level normal descendants before getting their ultimates, so it is worth farming regular just just that at the very least. A lot of the farms can be done with an unboosted valby so leveling her will go pretty quick. But ultimate valby will be insane, provided you have supply moisture.
@@TyrantKnightmare I picked up Supply Moisture this morning when trying to get something else. I now have 4 of them 🙄 I'll take your advice and level them up. But I'll invest more into Ultimate Valby when I get her.
@@JEFFROM2S took me days to get my one, make sure you combine your extra transcendent mods. I got hypothermia for Viessa, one of her best ones, by combining a bunch of my duplicates. it leans heavily toward giving you ones you don't have, even some that are really hard to get normally

Gley is my favorite descendant because i always like the beserker type of characters doing more damage and depleting your health to just nuke your enemies is just satisfying plus the va that did gley also did joanna dark in perfect dark zero so its kinda nostalgic
Favorite descendant is VAlby because I love the water damage stack with the critical!

The vanilla thunder is good for mobs , even with just one sacrifice made. The question is what does is crit on hard mode Colossus bosses.

I gotta say that Valby is my favorite. I love locking down areas and watching plain stupid DoT numbers pop up everywhere. I'm waiting for her Ultimate to release before I really invest in building her, though. Not to mention that the Thunder Cage works so well with Laundry, so this build is super helpful.
Manged to roll - toxic atk 1,223 - weak point dmg 11.8% - fireaem crit hit dmg 36.2. Just need firearm atk 😁
I just want to highlight the mod "Shot focus" which isnt mentioned here. Firearm attack +15% skill power modifer -15% which is perfect for squeezing that extra damage on weapons vs skills.
viessa because she was my 2nd main shes one of a kind with the ice abilites but more important i recently farmed all her ult pieces
