Thank you for uploading this training. This has been a great help
This tutorial is an excellent hands-on thing for beginners to project management and "accidental" project managers like you so very rightly say! Thank you so much for such initiatives. Godspeed!
I highly indicate this excellent course by Deborah Ashby, who really knows how to teach!
Congrats!
Brilliant Training.. The Pacing , The modulation, The details.. all of it is so well done.. Many Thanks 💛
You're very welcome! 😊
I found this tutorial very informative. I highly recommend this course to anyone who would like to explore Microsoft project for the web in-depth.
The trainer is very knowledgeable and made this tutorial very simple, attractive, and interesting.
Fantastic training. I learned a lot. It is clear, even paced, detailed, and structured. Thank you!
Wow, thank you!
Great intro Training.
Couple of questions.
1. Is there a way to add lead or lag time to a task?
2. How can update your plan based on the final date.
For example if we change the date of the wedding, how can the predecessors task due date be automatically updated based on the dependencies.
What a nice surprise to have Power Bi built into this training. I love both platforms and think they go hand in hand. "
If you can't measure you can't manage!"
Great video for those who start. Covers everything I was looking for. Thank you so much.

One of the downloadable sheets in the free course exercise files is not there, "Final Wedding Plan Complete". Other than that ,,, nice course, very informative.
Thank you so much for this trainning
You are very welcome! Glad it was helpful. 🙂
This is excellent training, thanks a lot :)
Thank you so much for the training. I'd like to contribute a little bit. I'm referring to 1:58 time stamp. An easier way to get emojies is pressing the windows - key + the dot - key. This will show the emoji - pan.
Hey, that emoji shortcut is a game-changer! Thanks for sharing it. 😊

I was interested to see the connection between Project and Power Bi as per introduction. But at the end there was no explanation given on Power BI. is there any other video which we can have a deep dive?
Very nice training, clear and complete.
As a project manager only I have a licensed MS Project - question: will it be possible for other team members to view and interact with project created in Project for the web?
Great tutorial. Thank you!
Wow, thanks! Glad it was helpful. 🤩
Thank you guys! Very helpful 🙌🏻
Happy to help! Thanks for watching 🙂
Hi! Why I can't see the option "Go to project online ->" on my project for the web app? The one on the lower left corner of the screen. I have project plan 3 license.
Hi thank you so much for putting this training together. I subbed to Microsoft Plan 1 and initially it looked very limited. I had a look at other apps for a couple of hours and then came back to Project. Your video was really helpful in opening-up what Project 1 has to offer. I did a mental dump and added tasks and checklists as I followed along with your videos. The link to Teams is really helpful! One question - is there a way that Project could send an email on the day a Task is due? Probably needs something in between, like PowerAutomate. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for the stellar content, great job
This is a wonderful training
Glad you think so!
Great course!!!
By the way, this video is very informative and useful!)) Thanks!
Which Project Plan funcionalities this video is based on? Were you using Project Plan 1, 3 or 5?
Great video! Anyways, when connecting to teams, how do i set the "access" so members can only do view-only instead of edit ?
You said at the start that how to set work calendars and worker hours, and working days will be explained in the later parts of the video but it wasn't told at all. Is there some video that does tell about it? Please explain
Great video. Is it possible to have two separate projects linked so that if information is changed on one, it will change on the other project that it is linked to? If project A is a master schedule for 10 other projects and one of those is project B, can I link A and B so that if I make a change on B it will show up on A and adjust all dependents on project A accordingly?
thank you for this!
You're so welcome!
Can we colour the task/summary, and label the gantt chard with responsibility, task name, completion time etc?
I have a question, so, how can i put milestone inside?
tks :)
Thank you a lot!
You're welcome!
Great Tutorial. Couple of doubts.
1. Is it possible to recover a project/ task if it gets deleted through Dataverse/PowerApps?
2. Is to possible to incorporate flows inside or outside the project using the Power Automate flow as "Project for Web" this is based on PowerApps platform.
3. Other than the custom columns, is there a way to capture Planned VS Actuals or Baselines inside the project or timeline view or its only available in Microsoft Project Online/Desktop Apps (could we use flows to do some automation)?
4.When you assign external user/resource to the Outlook group and then resign that user/group to your Project, What limitation do they have as compared to the member?
5. How effectively we could use Roadmaps and Goals together for Program Managers?
6. Is there any way of showing in the filter for Milestone task type? (you can search in filter and it applies, but I guess that's a bug)
Do the other members need licenses as well just to view a plan? . great video thanks.
Very informative course. How can I add a milestone to the giant chart?
Subtask completion is not updating in the main task progress. It is working on the client app but not on the web. I created one test task project and two sub tasks, even when check mark both subtask to 100% it is not updating in the main task. Can someone help me with the formula or workaround for this?
Early on, you indicated there would be information about using Power BI with Project for the Web. I did not see anything anywhere. While there was good information, I'm disappointed that there wasn't anything about Power BI as promised.
You may check our tutorial for connecting your Project for the Web data to a Power BI Template: ruclips.net/video/C-KfgpIHeuA/видео.html
Can you link dependencies between two projects?
Is there a way to display the duration, Start and finish dates under "Timeline"? Thanks
how do add a formula to the columns if I want to add the actual start , actual finish and the actual duration
Can you combine two or more subprojects under one master project?
In project for the web, I copy and rename a project. I would like to load it on Teams : How can I do this?
any idea on how to change the timeline scale to week number instead?
Is there any magic way of re-ordering tasks (including summary/sub-tasks) in a Project for the Web plan? Where there are dependencies it seems there are a number of steps which need to take place which is a little cumbersome. Thank you.
How do I sort by start date in the grid view?
Thank you this video. I was able to learn very quickly!
I'm assuming Project online still doesn't support resources which is what I needed.
Were you ever able to figure out how to do it?
@@ChrisABaldwin can't do it online. Only desktop version.
Hello, if I have 2 differente projects but the team is the sameis possible to create one master project or join the 2 projects with planner, I need that my team can see all their weel activities of different projects, how can I do it? thanks!
Nice video. Is there a way to import tasks from Excel?
Not that I know of. You can import from Project Online or Project Desktop, though.
Do guests have to have project to view? Can you share project plans with people that only have planner?
In Project for the Web, guests do not necessarily need to have a Project for the Web license to view project plans.
Guys, any idea how can we set the default numbers of columns under the grid tab
Will Project Web and Project online work together? I.e if I build a plan in Project online, can my project Web users access it and make minor edits in Web?
is there anyway to start a task as late as possible in Project for the web?
Hi all, I'm stuck in one scenario where I want to show all the assigned task of a vendor(account) whenever tasks are assigned from the project entity from task tab within the grid the related task must also be seen in the sub-grid which is on the vendor(account). It is getting hard for me to find a solution. Also when I integrate the project online with custom power app, It gave a empty tab on the account entity. It is much appreciated if you can help me out in this scenario. I have tried Microsoft Planner but it is just for the Microsoft Teams. I want almost same functionality on the account entity if possible. Thanks in advance.
Did you find any solution for this?
@@sudhiracharya3102 , no I didn't get any solution for this. I have tried to achieve all the functionality by using custom project entity and other related entities.
Is there any reason why Microsoft opted to not include the ability for team members to provided a status update on individual tasks? This is a feature of planner that I think would be a no brainer here and really hurts the functionality imo. Like I can set a task to 50% complete but I can't provide a date stamped note on why it is at 50% complete. Doesn't make much sense.
Windows key + ; shows the emojis
Microsoft's nickel and dime approach is absolutely infuriating.
Great tutorial! Thank you
Glad you think so! 😊
