    I am disappointed it's not some cheap solution involving home-etching an antenna, soldering it to a wifi dongle and attaching it to an old satellite tv antenna dish

    I think sub-title is much better than voice translation...just like how a non-english drama / movies translated into english...the voice translation either too fast or doesn't connect with the action of the presenter.
    I would strongly suggest sub-title translation in all your videos the traffic will be significantly increase as well. By the way i like the russian language and who knows i could learn few words if you use subtitle because it translate what you are doing with your own language.
    Anyway does it works for 4G up to 50 KM distance?

    • @izzzzzz6
      @izzzzzz6 7 лет назад

      Perhaps HowTo DIY homeMade Electronica can offer to provide this service and simply send you the file of the finished subtitles so kreosan can then add them. But please keep the voice over. I was wondering if there was a video about how the voice over is done and who does it. Or perhaps if this topic is already covered within an existing video?

      It can be done. Google "Regime of a wideband phase-amplitude modulation in a CW magnetron transmitter with a phase control".
      But only ~3MHz of modulation bandwidth, so your WiFi will have to be slow.

      Yeah you could. There is no way you could connect a device to one of those APs using built-in WiFi past 400 meters. Practically impossible. If you can set the radio to bridge mode, yes you could connect both together and probably get 5 KM out of a TP Link

      the youtuber jeija made a video about it and mentioned that it isnt about the output power of the transmitter, but about the output power after the antenna, attaching such an antenna will probably go over the allowed power. not that i care, but i wouldnt want to get busted for that :P
