As always another great vlog from you. Always informative and interesting with some great roads thrown in, excellent drone shots and editing so thanks. As a very long time pillion, and two up tourers it’s always nice to see others that travel as we do, and Emily I admire your complete relaxation on the bike up and down those hairpins whilst holding a GoPro!
Thank you so much for your encouraging kind words! And we are so glad that you are enjoying the videos. Two up touring is something we really both enjoy and sharing the experience like this is priceless as I'm sure you agree. Thanks! My arms and legs are definitely stronger after hanging on whilst recording for an entire tour =) Thanks again for your support and we hope you continue to enjoy the videos that follow. All the best Sean and Emily =)
This road was awesome -ended up riding it about 6 times lol as it was empty! Was fun riding through the Wild West filmset too -we even got permission 😁
I'm lucky to live not too far away from Velefique and can get get there reasonably quickly. So thanks Sean and Emily for a great vlog on the route AL-3102. I rode it last year. Best video yet and I hope any bikers who visit Spain try this route. When you reach the top you will have the biggest grin ever!! I also enjoy your other vlogs. Keep up the good work. Chris.
Hi Chris. Thanks for your comment! Really great to hear you enjoy the videos 😊. That’s great that you live so close to such an awesome road, it must be a really nice place to live. Thanks for watching and we hope to hear from you again 😎🙌🏻 Sean and Emily
Stayed in the same hotel at the beginning of the video last year on my 10-day motorcycle tour of Andalucia. Great roads, great food & great weather (41c !!!!)
Oh cool, it's a really nice hotel and had a very authentic feel about it (underground parking was nice too!) Sounds like you had a great trip! albeit a little bit on the hot side! Cheers S&E
Yeah this was an awesome stretch of road and nobody else was on it (actually did it 2 or 4 times 😊) Thanks for watching Sean and Emily seanandemilytravels.com/
Thanks David! yeah it's an awesome road that -had to ride it a few times =) hahah we didn't notice it until it was pointed out lol ....must have been the wind (hope it was the wind lol)
I'm currently in Mallorca chilling-out, and enjoying riding the MA-10 + Antonio Parietti's iconic Sa Calobra, and Cap de Formetor. Heading home to Scotland next week through Andalucia, so will check out the A-3012, cheers for that! Good vid by the way 😉
Hey Chris! Glad your enjoying Spain -wouldn't mind chilling out there ourselves 😊. Sounds like you're having a good time there and hope you enjoy the ride back! We recently toured Scotland and it was spectacular! Thanks! Here's our playlist of Spain in case you are interested: ruclips.net/p/PLl_mRzVHVQ0yRXu9qeZuZWnHoS1KQV7_8&si=pgIA5Z3i6S3twTkG
Another amazing road and scenery , why are there not many tourists around , seems odd to me , not complaining though , loved the ride and another great video guys 👍 Graham
Thanks Graham! Yeah we thought the same thing, but happy to have the place to ourselves. Really glad you enjoyed it and thanks for your continued support. Cheers S&E
Since visiting have you watched 'Once Upon A Time In The West'? It's one of my personal favourites and simply one of the best films ever made. I'd love to visit the set one day.
@@SeanandEmily The film is no way near as popular as the Clint Eastwood "man with no name" movies but Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone as director and composer are amazing.
@@SeanandEmilyUntil people watch this lol. There are probably stallholders setting up business and cooking sausages as we speak! This road was like the Alpine Passes were before Jeremy Clarkson tipped everyone off. Great video! 🙂
I’ve been binging your videos the last couple of days and have really enjoyed the watch. I’ve done this road myself a few years ago, my best friends live not to far from there in Albox. Keep banging the great blogs out.
Glad to hear you've been enjoying them! We really enjoyed this road -we were basically the only people there too. That's handy to have friends there =) a good excuse to visit them. Plenty more vlogs on the way as we head North =)
I have heard mention of 300 films being made using locations in the Tabernas Desert, including famous ones, such as a few of the Clint Eastwood `Spaghetti Westerns`, or even The Last Crusade, (Indiana Jones), which shot across the south coast (Cabo de Gata) and up as far as Guadix railway station.
Wow that many! I guess they had to justify building all those film sets that are really impressive! It was so much fun to be able to ride through the set 😊
Nice to see, the road on the Velefique is absolutely a must do in Spain.

Super video guys, love those Spanish roads.
Thanks very much! Some of the roads in Spain are just fantastic! -also not many people on the roads which made it even better!

Haha Maybe! The wild west filmset might have to change into a gravel track for bikers too =) Thanks for your support and catch you again S&E

Great, I see you going with less speed, does spain have lot of radars?
Didn’t see many radars, but if you’re recording and uploading to RUclips one needs to obey the speed limits 😉
Fabulous ❤️
It was such an amazing day!! cheers =)
Great riding shots! What sort of camera is Emily holding?
Thanks very much! We are using the GoPro Hero 11.
It must be the so called ”Spaghetti western’s” with Clint Eastwood they made there (?)
That would have been a good title for the video! 👏🏻👏🏻😁 Apparently once upon a time in the west was filmed there.
Wtf.. Look at the red chair in the secondfloor on the right @4:43, its moving!!! So creepy! 🤢👻👽👁️👁️
😱😱😱 😳😳 You have eyes of a hawk! I never noticed that! -it’s wasn’t even windy! ……and we never went back there again 😂
Oh come on, you had to tie up your trusty steed in front of the saloon, surely!?! 😂
Haha! Maybe that would have stopped it from bolting 😂
11:00 Spanish road department meeting - Ok for this years April Fools Joke we will turn loose a goat and follow him up a hill and turn it into a road.
Haha yeah i think so ....somebody give that Goat a medal!! 🤣
