    • @toastalade
      @toastalade 2 месяца назад +16

      I'm glad you found an option that works well for you! If that's your only concern with reusable cups though, you do not need to wash them out in public. You can just dump out into the toilet and reinsert it. This is with the assumption that you're only needing to empty it once or twice before you're back home, if you need to empty yours more frequently I'd do more research before following the advice of someone on the internet.

    I love that you keep everything that you need when your on your period but I have a recommendation for a pad it's the pad I use they are the always flex foam they are leak proof and you don't feel the pad like you do with some other pads so there's my recommendation for a pad but that's also what I use 😊

    Why are american tampons always packed so excessively and always with an applicator?
    Like are they grossed out by their own body or why does this seem so common over there? In Germany you rarely see this I think.

    The fact that I'm allergic to all of the products there💀💀 I have some tips too, someone said to leave the box in so the girls know the details, i recommend that OR make a little list and keep it there with the products you have, name, size, flow etc
    Also you should ask the girls if they're allergic or prefer a certain product (idk if you did that, but i know how hard it would be for me to see such grand and amazing gesture and not be able to use it because i was a shy 12 yo😂)
    You're doing amazing and I'm so happy your daughter(s?) and their(?) friends have such an amazing person as their mamma💜💜

    You - makes a spot for girls with periods to use and feel safe and comfortable with using
    My mom - “oh you started? Here’s some pads and tampons use whatever and tell me when you’re out”
    To this day I’m 14 started it when I was 13 and I still am clueless about everything I get agonizing cramps and don’t get told what could help me with my problem of some medicine making me worse and not helping and not told what helps for what. I don’t have access to anything but pads with me only being comfortable using pads. This really sucks I just want someone to tell me things and tell me what helps and what I can use for certain situations, not just give me a box and just leave it at that

    I remember when I had my first period, I asked my mom what to do and she said "didn't they tell you in school? Just use a pad."
    So scared little ol me went back to the bathroom not knowing what a pad looked like, much less how to apply it, and I proceeded to accidentally use a panty liner instead 😅 no wings. Had huge stains several times, I even asked "how often should I be changing them? I'm having to change them less than an hour apart" and she said "that can happen on your first period" and did nothing to check on me. 😅 this was during summer too so I didn't have any teachers or nurses easily accessible to ask... I didnt learn how to properly use a pad until I googled it myself a couple days later, because something felt wrong about how I was doing it 😂😅
