Wow! My 84 year old mother did our hair that way and to this day she does hers nightly. The things we take for granted...nothing new under the sun❤😊👑🥰 BEAUTIFUL
Not to be funny but *damn* i see why my sista's don't like getting their hair wet...it's hella work maintaining these beautiful styles. Even though you guys make it look so easy, (thumbs up).
I use to rock Bantu knots. That's what started my hair to grow cause you don't use heat. I may start back rocking em again. They do leave your hair curly. 🤗 Btw your hair turned out nice ♥️
i had LOST your video and so glad i found you again...did this the 1st time a week ago....OBSESSED. i love my natural curls. done on dry hair...😍 love your video! NEW SUSCRIBER!!!
I love this! Thank you so much for showing this, I was at my wits end with my hair. So glad I came across your tutorial. I'm trying this now can't wait to see what it looks like in the morning. Thanks again!
Girllll your curls have turned out the prettiest I've seen in these videos. Thanks for the scissor tip bcuz it takes forever taking the rubber bands out. How do you preserve the curls overnight? I always wake up to an elongated flat mess😞
Thank you so much!! - To maintain at night, I section my hair in about 4-5 sections and use an elastic band to secure the sections. I ONLY WRAP THE BAND AROUND THE SECTIONS ONCE so they won't stretch the curls closest to the root. I use this method because my hair was too short to pineapple. After I section, I put a large bonnet over my head and go to sleep. - When showering, I put a shower cap (or plastic bag) under the bonnet, then put the bonnet over it to keep frizz at bay.
WOW THAT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL! I DO MY BANTU KNOTS BY DOING A 2 STRAND TWIST THEN I KNOT THEM. WHEN MY HAIR GETS A LITTLE LONGER I WILL DO MY BANTU KNOT BY WINDING THE HAIR LIKE YOU DID THEN USING RUBBERBANDS TO SECURE THE KNOTS. BLESSINGS
I just did my fine hair in banjo knots after heating styling the day before and all I use was auntie Jackie curl maintenance then after, apply rosemary oil and holding spray. No rubber bands cause it cause hair breakage
Excellent tutorial! I’ve been watching quite a few that Made No Sense. I’m wearing a semi-successful Bantu knot out today but it’s so windy😫 and I didn’t have a single product at home without water in it so it’s not holding up very well. You’ve shown me that I can use a water based product Sparingly😀 tfs💕 New subbie💜
So, I guess I haven’t been doing a Bantu Knot.... I would start with a two-strand twist and just knot the twist at the base. I will definitely try his technique on clean, dry & straightened hair. Also, we should trim our beautiful natural hair every 6-8 weeks.👌 Thank you, for posting this video. Your hair turned out fantastic!🌟 P.S. Your organized-shoe collection inspires me to redo the closet and throw away the boxes!! Nice job!
I love this video. This is how I do my knots. What size Rubberbands do you use? I bought the small black kind. I have arthritis but love trying to keep the twist clockwise but sometimes have trouble with the back of my head.
They "can" last for a week. I section my hair in about 4-5 sections and use an elastic band to secure the sections.
This is lovely but have you tried styling your hair like this and walking in the wind? I tried it a couple of times and I ended up looking crazy bfr I got to my destination. This style is easy but u av to avoid the wind
Every time my eyes see my Israelites people, my spirit rejoyces, you are indeed beautiful my sister! Our God is a God of beauty and perfection! Shalom!
Now that is some kind of curl right there sista!!! I like this better than the 2strand/twist out curl Edited: Definitely trying this on my mannequin tomorrow
Wow! My 84 year old mother did our hair that way and to this day she does hers nightly. The things we take for granted...nothing new under the sun❤😊👑🥰 BEAUTIFUL
😊 This is true. - Thanks for watching!
My grandma said the same thing, lol
They knew how to do hair!

@@celestine7126 you can do it without blowdry
Reminds me of how my dad did my hair when I was a little girl. He was Jamaican and called them Chiney bumps.
browneyedgirl4268 yess , that’s what we call them 😭😂
My mother used to do it in my hair in Jamaica too and I use to cry everytime. I HATED them back then lol.
YASSSS THATS WHAT WE CALL IT FI TRUE !!
This is so Sweet. My dad used to make fun of my hairs.
Same here‼️ Sunday's after my mom washed my hair, she would put chiney bumps in if she didn't plat it 🇯🇲
You can use colored rubberbands, that way u won't cut your hair when removing the rubberbands
great idea
I love bantu knots so much, they're everything
The best bantu knot set i have ever seen
Hopefully, you thanked the Lord for seeing the new day (morning)! I definitely like this bantu knot technique! Thanks for sharing 😊
You make this look so easy. Banta knot twist out came out bomb 👍🏼👍🏼

Yes ma'am! You are welcome! Thanks so much for watching! 😘
Lindo!
I wear my knots as a style. As I take it down, it does nothing for my 4c hair. The knots get me lots of compliments. It suits my face.
