I bought the Mystic four star deal two years ago and got Guillotine. I had a mystic awakening gem from the dimensional rifts and used it on her. Best choice ever. For over a year she was a go-to in questing, stealing health and reversing regen left right and centre. While Scarlet Witch is now my go-to mystic for her power drain and nullify, Guillotine still excels when I pull her out.
Very nice! I know you don’t have him as a 4*....but Darkhawk absolutely needs to be awakened and max sig’d! So he is definitely generic worthy.....cause it just turns him into a offensive beast that can take down any 5/65 5*!

Love the way you point out Underrated champs as well...n here's what I did when I got the generic awakening gem....I was in a fix as well...bcoz I had mainly 4*s n my options were Voodoo...Medusa...Gladiator Hulk...Ghost Rider...N I went with Voodoo.....and I have no regrets at all....I used all my generic n class sig stones n my man Voodoo is at sig 65...the highest sig in my account....n he just pushed me thru so many AW fights....I could take down 2 10K PI hyperions in a row with that guy....just love to have him awakened!!!!!

The only issue I'll take with you is that some of the champs you've mentioned (Emma Frost, Omega Red, etc) will be coming up soon enough in the 4☆ Basic Arena. Unless you've got a ton of 4☆ Awakening Gems, just grind the arena to awaken them.
Blade. He's the best combo from that list of top champ + benefit from awakening. SL benefits most from the gem but since you have Sparky already, you can basically forget about SL.
If you play with both I'd do gosy rider.. Magiks is mainly for defense so once you dupe her your alliance might want her on war defense lol its hard to pass up unavoidable degen dmg and pretty good regen for a defender

Even though I don't think they're the best options in cosmic, you can't go wrong with Venom and Carnage after their buff!!

That limbo on magik saved me ALOT especially for a 5 star rank5 , so yes magik worth the awakening gem.
Generic 4*- SL, Korg, IMIW, CAIW, Sparky, Blade, Domino
Blade. He's the best combo from that list of top champ + benefit from awakening. SL benefits most from the gem but since you have Sparky already, you can basically forget about SL.

Every champ you named is good without their dupe. Sentry is meh but you get the point. None of those rely on dupe for main utility
