KISS IS NO 1. PAULS ONE HELLUVA FRONT MAN.. KEEPING IT ALL TOGETHER.... & JAMMING HIS ASS OFF TOO.... THANKS FROM THOSE WHO LOVE YOU.. MUCH APPRECIATED MR. STANLEY..........ROCK ON........
I wouldn't say their my favorite band I do respect and like a lot of their music , I think their early stuff is great like with most bands, and that all my favorite bands love kiss and claim them for one of the bands that made them want to get in rock and roll, also its pretty cool when you look at all the band that kiss gave a break to open up for them when these bands were nobody's,from AC/DC,Van Halen,Rush and the list goes on and on. It's pretty impressive
i identified myself with a lot of you guys. i m glad that i was right about kiss and about paul stanley as a star. all my friends were always against my taste for kiss. not even one of them shared my passion or even understood it. now i read your posts, 24 years later, you are my family, somewhere, wherever you are, WE ARE ONE.
@jeffrailey, I completely agree with you. Paul and KISS are rock gods. And many of these KISS haters just don't get the KISS vibe that we have. I just saw my first KISS concert on Wednesday (which I have videos of on my channel). And Paul and the guys were just totally kick ass and awesome. I was exhausted the whole next day after the concert. I knew what to expect at the concert but I didn't know just how much energy there is when you're actually there.
I can still remember the first KISS concert that I was a part of, "Hot In the Shade" in 1990. The greatest concert in regards to attitude, musicianship, and theatrics. I've seen many great bands, many that acknowledge KISS as a musical influence (Metallica, Motley Crue, Anthrax, Megadeath, Faster Pussycat). The Hot in the Shade tour was over 20 years ago (Sept. 1990). LoveThatPhantom, I agree with you. KISS haters can be classified into 2 categories: ignorant and/or jealous.
Beautiful comment, edguitar007! You are right, bro. I love Paul Stanley and KISS. I'm not a musician. I'm a boxer that's blessed to have won an amateur world championship as a middleweight boxer in 2011. For some strange reason, KISS and Paul Stanley have inspired me. It's strange that some people (even musicians) don't get the KISS vibe. They are awesome musicians, legends (like super heroes), and good men. Once again, I love your comment. WE ARE FAMILY. WE ARE ONE. GOD BLESS YOU.
We can go on! It's no big secret! Many bands have been influenced musically by KISS. LoveThatPhantom, I think the bottom-line is.....the KISS vibe is larger than life. It's a positive energy about achieving your dreams in life no matter what haters think. Even if you go after your dreams and don't achieve 'what you want', you WIN in the end because you never gave in to the miserable critics. Any ways, I'm glad you are part of the KISS Army, LoveThatPhantom. God bless you, bro.
@ItalianBluesMan55 You're not the only one. He's inspired me to pick up the guitar and learn to play it. He's just talented and there's something about him and his music that gets to me.
I've always loved KISS for their music first! LoveThatPhantom, it's just crazy stupid how many haters try to criticize their music. In doing so, the haters fail miserably. Black Diamond off their first album (1973) is a classic; Detroit Rock City is total KICK ASS (Metallica closed Cobalt Hall by playing that classic- shows us that KISS has influenced possibly the greatest heavy metal band on earth); Hard Luck Woman is a classic (Garth Brooks played it and admits KISS as a musical influence);
@MetalHeart8787 There are so many songs that Paul wrote that are my favorites. But Wouldn't You Like To Know Me was one of my favorites of his first solo album. He's my idol, he's the reason I'm going to learn how to play guitar. He's fantastic. At the time of making this video, I was thinking about using the song Hold Me, Touch Me. Other favorite songs he's written is Turn on The Night, Firehouse, Comin' Home, Black Diamond, I Just Wanna, Tears Are Falling, Live To Win, and Bulletproof.
@edguitar007 Yes, I totally agree with you. I have been a fan of KISS for over 6 years and my friends and family don't get it and a few of them are disgusted by it. And yes, WE ARE ONE!!!
great video. i would use the song thrills in the Night. thats one of my favorite songs by him theres so many. is that you, tonight you belong to me, i want you
@ilovepaulstanley2 0:35 is from Kissology Vol. 1 Disc 1 I believe, can't remember what concert footage though. And 1:57 is also from Kissology Vol. 1 from when the gang was on the Paul Lynde Halloween special I believe. If you want to know what exactly 0:35 is from what concert I can tell you this weekend when I get my Kissology Vol. 1 back from my friend.
Nice dude, I'll have to check that out. Man wish I could only go to the expo but alas I got to work and I'm poor at the moment. Just bought myself a Paul Stanley Sovereign Silvertone guitar at a pawn shop!!! And in pretty good shape for only $200. Now it's on to saving the money to get guitar lessons :) I want his jacket I've seen on their website but yet don't have enough money (stupid economy).
I love paul Stanley. I just did a unreal fun paul Stanley tribute video also. I am snowboarding in a paul Stanley outfit down a volcano. it is on my channel right now. starchild is king. I got his boots. kiss expo in 2 weeks. whos going? see ya there.

No wonder he needed a hip replacement...
What he did with his hips all this years....tf!☺
How did you celeberate his birthday? I had a listen to KISS/Paul Stanley all day(whenever I could) and watch the KISSOLOGY's ;) All day long.
So do I. I wanted to get some clips of him jumping in the air or breaking his guitar. But in my collection I couldn't find any.
I love paul Stanley. I just did a unreal fun paul Stanley tribute video also. I am snowboarding in a paul Stanley outfit down a volcano. it is on my channel right now. starchild is king. I got his boots. kiss expo in 2 weeks. whos going? see ya there.
This video rocks! Could you tell me what the following parts are from: 0:10, 0:31, 1:10, 2:01? I know it's a lot, but I'd love to know. Thanks.😉
