  • Dave Grusin may not exactly be a household name but his music has been a feature of American cinema and television for decades. One of the most celebrated composers of soundtrack music, Grusin has won numerous Grammys, both as a fine jazz pianist and producer. Here in 1989 he talks about his record label GRP formed with Larry Rosen, and offers a rare glimpse into the life of one of the most prodigiously talented composers in American music.

    Hi Dave. I love your theme songs, especially The Name of the Game. My dad introduced me to your CD Migration. I grew up listening to that one quite a lot.
