There's is nothing as such good or better English, people from different countries just have different ways to express themselves through English as a language and the accent is affected ofc due to their native language and tone so whatever. Btw neither we are big fan of English/American or any specific accent, rather we find our accent quite good as we use whole pronounciation in words and sentences so better you don't comment on accent and English. Also knowledge and abilities are more important than fancy show-off accent 🤡👍.
Thank you NPTEL ! And thank you Professor for this great lecture. You are indeed a very talented teacher. Never have I understood a topic so clearly without having any doubts.
Thankuu very much sir....If someone is having problem with his accent then he/she can increase the playback speed. In this way...u can understand the concepts without getting bored.I hope this helps.
Professor, But indexed set must be non -empty, I guess.. as then only we’ll be able to prove arbitrary union of open sets is open , because then only we’ll be able to choose alpha _nought in index set “J “..if it’s non empty
If it's empty also then you can never find an element which does not satisfy the definition of open set or in other way you can say that all the elements (of which there are none in this case) will satisfy the definition of open set and hence an empty set would be an open set.
Sir, in the case of finite complement topology, while taking their union, if some of the sets in topology are finite and other are X? You considered only 2 cases when for each alpha, the compliment is X and second when for each alpha the compliment is finite. Shouldn't there be a third case while proving the second axiom, i.e, the union axiom?
Seee X will never be a set of topology u misunderstood only to take empty set we considered those set whose complement is X so infinite sets are not part of our topology set how u are taking union??
Imagine a circle around it because this concept is not only limited to R but also R^n so if you imagine a circle or a sphere around the point x of radius r defined by 1/2 of min {r1,r2}
Incredible resource. I'm American, and I'd much rather have this guy teach with his accent than the people with "better" English.
Hi
His accent is fine but I was distracted by his voice.
Just increase speed of video ... accent will be fine then
