Hell... half the time I don't even know how I will make something intil I sit down to do it. Some projects you can plan it until the end, but the process can get off track, and you have to call an audible.

I teach STEM - Design and Technology Science and ICT at an SEMH school. In exasperation, I asked one of the girls I have been struggling to get to engage in my lessons to tell me what she wanted to do. When she told me she wanted to make a resin waterfall I was skeptical as in previous lessons she has cringed and protested when handling tools and using glue. She would complain at smells from paints and varnish and be silent for the remainder of the lesson. She told me about your video which we watched. I reluctantly ordered resin and gel medium. The first stage was reasonably successful mixing the sand and resin but I could not believe it when she literally bounced into the second lesson, spent 90 minutes fully engaged mixing resin, placing stones using pliers and questioning me at every stage about what tools and equipment she could use. While working she told me it was the best DT lesson she had ever had and later told my line manager it was the best lesson she had had ever at the school. So thank you so much for sharing your work.
