The Custom and the Reissue Les Pauls are different enough to justify keeping both. If it was a case of having, say, a ‘58 Reissue and a ‘60 Reissue then letting one go would be more justified - but keeping both a Custom and a Reissue makes sense.
I have an '07 R8 with Burstbuckers. I wonder how that special neck profile on yours compares to the normal neck profile they offer on the R8. Although the neck profile has probably changed over the years on the R8s in general. Nice work.
Thanks! The Carmelita neck is taken from a 59, and is a little thinner than the standard 50s I’ve played. But it’s a little thicker than a 60s neck like on my custom. It has a really nice feel to it.

Been rocking a JVM410h and have been beyond satisfied- very underrated metal amp IMO, but to reach into that world of Mesa tone, I think the Mark VII would be perfect

Dude, JVMs are nice amps! I have been gas’ing over the mark series like crazy but I don’t see myself unloading anything…for now haha
