I was a Savile Row tailor for many years and we never did that - we had to spend ages layering the seams, trimming and using something called a bodkin to turn them. I have never heard of this trick - 30 years later I have learned something new so thank you...! Xx
My home ec teacher taught this way back in 1973! It made so much sense when one thinks about it. I'm surprised that everyone doesn't know this since I learned it in a tiny hick town! LOL But, then again, I realized what an excellent all-around education I had received from that small-town school when I went to college and those around me were struggling! Thank you northern WI teachers!

This is so, SO helpful!! I'm working on trying to make my own pattern for a character plushie whose style has a ton of sharp edges, and I just couldn't figure out how to get them to look right!
