I have Programat CS - I always use P1 program crystal/glaze without issues. I tried to use P3 speed crystallization setting for the first time but I’m not sure if this is normal: The device has already been idle at 404 degrees. I select P3, open the furnace head housing, insert my restoration on a speed crystallization tray, then I click “START”. However, the furnace head housing stayed opened the entire process (in the P1 setting, the furnace head closes within minutes) - is this usual? I can see the internal glass tubing turning orange (meaning it’s firing) and the estimated completion time says 20-25 min instead of the advertised 15 min. Please let me know if I’m doing something wrong. Thank you.
Dear Khalid Seder, Thank you for your question. The Programat CS is a normal ceramic furnace, with which you can make your metal free or metal ceramics firings. We hope we clarified your doubts. We wish you a great rest of the day, Your Ivoclar Social Media Team

This is for zirconia only or we can use for metal ceramic?
