Johnny, this is fantastic! How did you ever get this version??? Like I said, never a bad vocal! There is a longer original version of "Drivin' Down Brazil" from the "Crayons" album that she had to shorten for the cd that I'd love to hear! Some great posts you have.

I'm amazed at what she was able to do with writing and rearranging lyrics. When the beat kicks in it has that, that classic DS vibe that gives me chills. I wonder if she re-recorded it because it was for her play OG that never came to fruition. Sounds like a whole new song! I believe this was the first song she played for Burgundy before recording the rest of her Crayons album. Thank god she was given the green light to make new music and not record standards, which was what she was told to do. Even with lung cancer she still had a powerful voice at that last mini concert when she was truly saying goodbye to all her fans.
I hope to stay here where I am now (you know where) TRY to MAKE THE PROGRAM as good is possible. But , I really NEED HONEST CONTACT. Please, understand me ! (Translate in Sanskrit).
