- This was a cheap fix for our walk in cooler rusting. This is only temporary as eventually we will need to replace insulation and floor with stainless steel panels eventually. Our walk in cooler was rusting and had been painted many times so it will take some scraping and prepping!
What's inside that door? Is it safe to drill through like that?

If it gets bad enough use low temperature application adhesive and some thin diamond plating
if you use epoxy paint thik one for the floor will be good
can you suggest an inexpensive way to repair rust and corrosion along the bottom of my 20 year old walk-in cooler? When I took the coving off the inside there's lots of rust where the wall meets the floor, and major rust outside along the bottom in the area of the floor drain pipe. Thanks!
Honestly at that rate they make cheap thin diamond plates. Clean it up nice, let it dry and glue (all season glue) the plates to the floor. You’ll have to turn off cooler so it can dry warm and cut the plates to fit.

im looking to do something like this too. but maybe skip the painting?.
i was thinking to just place the panels on the floor. i don't really want to drill or weld the panels onto the cooler itself. incase we want to remove the panels.
Yes there are, some local steel shops will even Bend for you. Get your measurements so it can be seamless up the walls / waterproof
