It’s only a assumption but the storm that Lilo’s parents died in was possibly Hurricane Iniki which hit the island of Kauai dead on and killed 6 people.
As a kid, you don’t relate with Nani and find her annoying. As an adult, I’m rooting for Nani all the way! She’s a teen who not only lost her family but also has to take responsibility of her little sister. If you look closely into her room, there are surfing trophies and medals. It shows that maybe she planned to become a pro surfer before her families death. Shes had to take care of so much! She even put away her relationship and life to raise Lilo. I’ll always be heated how people praised Anna and Elsa to be the perfect sister duo of Disney. Nope. Lilo and Nani take the Cake ***So when I say i found Nani annoying I was watching it from a child’s perspective like around 8 or 9. And I just wanted to see lilo and stitches adventure! Long story short, as kids we don’t really see Nani as anything but a side character but growing up we end up seeing things differently! Also thanks for the likes ❤️***
Nani was not annoying for me, but definitely more irrelevant. Not truly realizing what and how much she is dealing with and sacrificing. It was much easier to understand Lilo and Stitch as a kid. But as an adult, you can see Nani is just another kid trying her best to raise her sister. So many hardships they are both dealing with.
I also like that the movie manages to capture the nature of the sisters as well with how they get mad at each other, make up, how Nani takes care of Lilo much like their parents did etc, etc.
It also feels incredibly real. She's her sister, not her mother. She's maybe late teens or early 20s, and has to deal with a lot of responsibility and is doing her honest best and trying to manage the consequences when she gets something wrong she wasn't prepared for. Not to mention Lilo is one of the best written child characters I've ever seen in a movie, period.
@@petrastedman669 also let’s not forget that Nani and Lilo are sisters meaning they both lost their parents but Nani is not being given her time to grieve cause she’s had to step into the role of parent. How Nani has managed to keep it together as well as she has is nothing short of a miracle.
"His molecular density is too great" I like how they kept that consistent when Nani and David tried to carry Stitch, and they are having trouble bc he's so heavy.
What's interesting is that the Experiment made 2 prototypes before him (Stitch is 626, Reuben the sandwich-making monster is 625, and I'm referring to Angel, aka 624, who is the pink siren-type experiment who looks like a pink version of Stitch without the extra pair of arms,) IS able to swim because she's lighter than Stitch. Stitch can't even float because he's too heavy, like you said!
In an episode in the series Jumba creates an experiment 627 that has all the strengths of Stitch and none of the weaknesses, after Stitch got really arrogant and believed himself to be the peak of what Jumba could create.
so, one of the dimensions of this movie that a lot of non-native folks may not pick up on is how disproportionately children are removed from indigenous homes. this is a global problem, but especially in north america, child protective services has very little grace with intermediate steps between identifying a problem environment and removing the kid from the family entirely. i have white friends who were required to go to parenting classes, get counseling, get job counseling, etc over the course of years and never had their children removed from their custody or had their kids placed with immediate family like grandparents while the parent got their shit together. conversely, i have an indigenous friend who had cps try to take his daughter away because they lived in a cabin off the grid and cps said that not having running water was unsanitary, i've seen infants taken away from their parents immediately after birth on the grounds of bogus drug test results, and i know a lot of 60+ year olds that were taken away from their families for residential schooling or because they weren't christian. so nani is reaffirming her and lilo's shared heritage before lilo is taken away by an agent of a colonizing govt, something that has been happening for generations.
Yeah it's so important to realize the racial and cultural bias that is inherent in our social services system. So many children (disproportionately POC children) have put into the system, into residential school, or Catholic services only to receive more abuse. I'm passionate about social work & really want to change the system from the inside.
@@ambriaashley3383 I love what you guys wrote here! Really makes you realize the number that western imperialism and white supremacy has done to our world :( I hope for our collective healing!

When I was younger I used to watch this all the time. Now as an adult, I can't watch it without crying because I understand things more now. It still holds up, though, in my opinion.
Lilo and Stitch constantly have scenes were they talk about the mistreatment of hawaiians. Lilo takes pictures of tourists because when tourists came to Hawaii they entered the native's homes(without permission)and just took pictures. Luaus where also sacred celebrations but now are monetized for tourists.
I believe there’s a lot of hints throughout the movie, especially everything you see in Nani’s room, shows that she was on her way to becoming a professional surfer and she probably gave that up to focus on raising Lilo
Disney movies that revolve around children befriending unusual creatures and how your friends could become your family - those are ALWAYS awesome. Lilo & Stitch is up there on top with How to train your dragon and Big hero 6. If you hadn't seen those, I definetely recommend!)
my sobbing trio movies LOL. And Brother Bear, though idk if that really fits with the unusual creatures, but it's about a guy befriending a baby bear and searching for his dead mother, so yeah, tearjerker. Also Tarzan, how tarzan is human but the gorillas all love him regardless except the dad, who struggles to love him...
I love that Lilo is so familar with art that she has a "blue period." I also love that she takes pictures of tourists in the very same way that they would be taking picutres of her as a local: As part of the experience and not as a person.
That scene with Nani singing to Lilo.... it ALWAYS gets me to cry. Also, when Stitch is in the forest and he says "lost"..... water works. I watched this movie when it 1st came out, so I was 11 going on 12 that year, and this movie hit me so hard emotionally. This is one of my favorite Disney movies ever.

I believe the animation team hired watercolor artists specifically for this movie! They did the same thing for Dumbo back in the day to save money. As a nod, you can see a Dumbo plush in Lilo's room in at least one scene!
I honestly always loved the soft watercolor backgrounds as a child and even to this day. It brings out something pleasant to a beautiful story that has depth.
I believe Nani is 18-19 also if you look at her room you'll see a bunch of surfing trophies and medals. She was suppose to continue into a career of surfing but due to her and Lilo's parents dying she had to give it up in order to take care of Lilo.
Fun fact: the voice actress for Lilo also played Samara in The Ring (the creepy girl that crawls out of the TV) AND Chihiro (the main character) in Spirited Away (the English version, obviously haha)
You two have the perfect amount of optimism and cynicism to be movie commentators. I keep getting suggested other commentators but none of them have the magic you two do
I actually don’t think Lilo needed to be taken away from Nani. Unforeseen circumstances (aliens) aside she was doing her best and needed support. Like therapy, reliable childcare and more time to adjust, not CPS breathing down her neck. Plus, yeah they had their problems but I think the foster system would’ve been really damaging for Lilo. Generally it’s not great for anyone, but it would’ve been especially not great for a kid like Lilo. Even teenage parents get nine months to prepare. Nani lost her parents, probably had little time to process it, and then was tasked with taking care of a grief stricken younger sibling but was expected to handle things perfectly all the time or lose the only family she had left. I didn’t get this watching this in 2nd grade, but for a 19 year old she’s doing better than expected. She cares enough to be a good guardian, she’s just dealing with the parental equivalent of being thrown in the deep end and told to swim.
Agreed. And I like that the movie ends with their family growing bigger, because that’s what we should be doing. When a family’s struggling, the key is to add to their support system rather than divide the family.
@@catdragon2584 yeah an when you get into the series you see it was exactly what she needed. Jumba and Pleakley end up being additional almost parental figures. It takes a village to raise a child as they say
Well in reality (I know for NYC) she would have had an open investigation for 30 to 90 days if someone reported the family to CPS/DCFS and when a determination has been made if she was abusive/maltreated Lilo or the claims would be unsubstantiated. If the determination was substantiated Nani would be asked if she would like preventive services if she said no CPS would prob have a FTM (family team meeting) or a CSC (child safety conference) meeting to see if court intervention is needed. The family Court Judge would request for the Nani to comply with court ordered supervision for 6 months to a year with a CPS worker monitoring the family and local preventative services are put in as extra help and an extra set of eyes in the home. Removal is the last thing CPS/DCFS wants to do and most of the time when it takes place it is at the decision of a Family Court Judge as they have to write the order unless it's like an emergency untimely death/murder (it seems thier parents passed some time ago and no one reported it immediately) of a parent and there are no custodial or legal guardians (like obtaining guardianship/custody from a family court ) then a temp removal/placement may take place. Trust me if CPS was involved this movie would be at least be a mini series of thier involvement.
@@LunatheLoungeSinger In their case, it isn't about a complaint, but guardianship after the death of both parents. Nani has to prove to the courts that she is a fit guardian to to be made a permanent guardian. That means home visits, interviews, and documented proof that she can support and care for Lilo.
@@maddwitch the complaint would most likely come from the hospital who pronounced the parents death and their social worker would contact local CPS to start the investigation.as the report would state that there is no plan currently in place for the care of the chn .
I have a theory to why Lilo considers Elvis a model citizen. It was her dad's favorite singer. If you look at the family photo, he's playing a guitar. Probably sang to Lilo some of his favorite Elvis songs Edit: highly recommend you watch them all. Stitch has a glitch, Stitch! The movie. Then Leroy and Stitch. One of the few Disney stories that they completed
I was never bothered by Jumba changing his mind that easily. He's a mad scientist after all, emphasis on the _mad._ I can totally see him releasing Stitch after they finally catch him, just to see what happens.
8:33 That particular shot of Lilo picking up and embracing her doll is to me the absolute cutest shot of her in the entire movie. She’s absolutely adorable.
I’ve been saying for years that there needs to be a Cobra Bubbles prequel. Also, I really miss 2D animated films. There was something special about them and the artistry it takes to make them, and now they’re basically nonexistent at major studios.
I was a single mom when I took my kids, 9 and 10, to the theater to see this. We were all drying eyes on our way out after the movie. It was one of our best days. Thank you guys for reacting to this. And yes, I cried again.
They had to reanimated the end of the movie because it originally had the aliens hijacking a plane and flying it through a city, but then the 9/11 attacks happened, so they decided it was a good idea to change that
Ever since I discovered you guys I've been waiting for you to watch this movie! What a perfect day for me to wear my Stitch shirt! Its only the morning but my day is already made, thank you! :)
Not a big deal obviously because it's just a movie but I want to point out that the social worker wasn't "just doing his job" actually. Like he's pretty bad at being a social worker. The goal is always supposed to be to keep the child with family if at all possible, baring abuse ofc. They have resources for helping guardians secure employment, access social services, parenting classes etc. He never offered her any of that and made it seem that if Lilo had to go to foster care it was going to be permanent which I didn't have to be, the point if foster care is that it's supposed to be temporary.
To be fair lilo told him she beat her with bricks, the stove was on while lilo was left home alone. And the house exploding while losing her job. I mean that’s grounds.
@@mellysomethingclever the house exploding happens at the end. A real social worker would take the bricks comment with a huge grain of salt as there is no physical evidence and teachers and mandated reporters have not reported any suspicions of physical abuse. The stove being on while lilo was home alone is not great but is not enough by itself especially if there's no proof it's a common occurrence.
@@JustLaugh143 I doubt most case workers would take the bricks comment and the fact what she was saying was completely scripted with a grain of salt. Especially since lilo screamed seconds after the case worker left.
This movie is careful to show how good Nani actually is for Lilo. She understands her personality and admits her own mistakes like a parent should. She tells Lilo her boss is a vampire so Lilo doesn’t feel guilty about Nani losing her job, which also distracts Lilo from the bleak situation. With the right support, Nani would be an ideal guardian. Sadly, children of native people and poc are taken away far more easily and often by social services. They have so little guidance in finding resources to help them get jobs and benefits to support themselves. I always thought the movie did a good job hinting at that, with Nani having to job hunt all by herself as a teenager.
I never noticed the parallel of when stitch bit captain gantu and him asking if it looked infected to when Lilo bit Mertle and she asked if it looked infected. Took me 19 years to notice that 🤦🏼♀️
My daughter was the demographic for this movie and I remember she loved it ... still does. Love you guys, even more after hearing you say, "Negative reinforcement is not what you want for a dog."
This is one of my favorite Disney movies ever. I really do love the fact they don't gloss over anything, and there is a learning experience for all main characters, and the background tone of "it's okay to be different, and to feel like you not fit in, and to have a family that isn't conventional, you just need to stick together with those you love and everything will work out". Love it.
When I was little I didn't fully understand the scene where Nani is singing. I thought it was the anniversary of their family's death or something and that was a sort of ritual they did together, and that it wasn't until their house blew up that Bubbles decided to take Lilo away. Looking at it now, I can feel the scene has much more intensity of emotion. They are preparing to separate from their only surviving family member.
Lilo brings Pudge the Fish a sandwich because he controls the weather and her parents were killed while driving in a storm. My heart. Nani singing Aloha' Oe to Lilo the night before a government agency is about to separate them. My heart. "...I remember everyone that leaves." My heart.
All wonderful moments that tug the heartstrings. Also, "This is my family. Is little... and broken, but still good. ... Yeah. Still good." Not sure if it makes it better or worse that I can do the Stitch voice; the odds increase dramatically that I might make myself cry.
I will forever laugh at the scene where Nani wraps lilo in a blanket... Because you can still hear the original sound from when she was hiding in a dryer. They recently changed the animation to a table/counter/thing with a pizza box
@@harrypottersnumbrfan White people are the second largest ethnic group on Kauai (and there are way more of them than native Hawaiians) and that's only growing with the boom of wealthy white people buying property there.
It always gets me when Lilo prays for a friend/angel, cause when I was little I would pray to god for the same thing. Although I’m not religious anymore it still makes me emotional, cause I really hoped and believed there might of been at least one person out there who understood me. Unfortunately I don’t think there’s anyone out there for me still.
Believe me, there is someone. It might take you a long time to meet them, but they’re out there. My sleep schedule is shit, so I can’t guarantee any quick replies, but if you want to chat in the comments section, I’m down for that.
Lilo & Stitch was my favorite movie as kid. Never fully understood the true meaning behind the events that have unfolded in the film when I was younger, but now that it’s been a whole lot of years since I last watched this one, I realized that it’s really not just about Stitch being this weird alien creature meeting with a human girl, Lilo. It also emphasized the significance of family, friendship, and most importantly, sisterly bond, which I find quite rare in other Disney movies.
I was definitely one of those kids that always knew who Stitch and Lilo were growing up 'cos they were so iconic, but only watched the movie a few years ago 😳 keen to watch this vid you guys, thanks for another upload!
as someone who grew up with alot of childhood trauma, I sob every time I watch this movie. Even by just watching the clips you showed I ended up crying. Life isn't fair and kids shouldn't have to learn that so early and showing Lilo's coping mechanisms turning other kids away from her is so heart breaking
Love this movie! And love how both Nani and Cobra Bubbles want what's best for Lilo & both have good points to make for their own side. Cobra Bubbles is correct that the chaos & instability in their current living situation isn't good for Lilo but Nani is right that it's unlikely a foster family will be as understanding and supportive of Lilo's quirks, which also wouldn't be healthy for her.
7:37 I don't think she knows that fish eat fish. It's been all but confirmed by the writers that the reason Lilo feeds Pudge the sandwich was because she somehow got the idea that the reason why her parents died in the crash was because Pudge made it rain, so now she thinks that if she doesn't give him a peanut butter sandwich every week he'll make the weather hurt someone else.
Nice to see you guys review one of Disney's best from 2002. I can't wait to see you go deeper into the 'Lilo & Stitch' franchise including the two animé series.
i like the story with cobra bubbles, he is portrayed as doing his job as a social worker, certainly not easy, especially when it comes to separating families, and he is sympathetic
I loved Lilo and Stitch as a child, and rewatching it makes me realise something new every time, from the meaning of Lilo and Stitch's names to Nani's surf trophies in the background telling what she had to give up and it hurts even more in relation to the soundtrack song, which also adds to the subtle yet consistent comment on how the Hawaiian people are mistreated and they're traditions misuse for tourist entertainment, and I'm sure I'll notice another thousand things as I rewatch it again and again... absolute masterpiece!
So happy you guys did this movie, its my favorite Disney animated film. I was born and spend half my childhood in Hawaii, watching this gives me a sense of comfort few other things provide.
I always related to Nani because I’m the oldest sibling and always felt a lot of pressure to be the best example possible but I’ve always struggled to meet everyone’s expectations. So I always related most with Nani, even as a kid.
I love how Disney edited the washing machine Lilo hides in, into a pizza box. They assumed parents blindly turn on washing machines without checking for children. But the funny thing is, they left in the foley of a washing machine door. When does a cardboard box sound like metal? 😆
Wasn't it because originally when they released the movie kids were going into their washing machines at home so the release on disney plus they decided to go back and change it
@@hoykfnvnnesnxnnensncjforkx1616 Kids have done it before the movie came out. I remember doing it before the movie even came out. And my mother never turned it on while I was in it. That's the parent's fault if any kid ever got hurt.
@@hoykfnvnnesnxnnensncjforkx1616 IIRC The blame can be placed on the BBFC - the UK film ratings board - noted that they would give the film a 12 (12 and over only) rating if the machine scene wasn't edited or cut because of fears of inimitable behaviour. Disney edited it to get a U rating (the UK equivalent of G).
No it’s because there’s been way too many cases of kids being trapped in washing machines and hurt so they didn’t want to encourage it. It’s silly to complain about an edit that’s ultimately for the good of children’s safety and really just doesn’t have a negative effect.
This is my cue to finally watch lilo and stitch!! I was in the target demographic but never got around to watching it. I have watched the opening sequence a few times and absolutely love the song. It’s so overwhelmingly pure, and makes me feel warm inside ☺️

Doesn’t matter how old i am i still cry to this movie every time. Even in reactions. My ultimate favorite movie, and stitch is my ultimate favorite character.
One of my fav fun facts for this movie is there’s a deleted scene where they explain why lilo takes pics of tourists is because she’s taking pictures of them like tourists take pictures of indigenous Hawaiians and native culture
Stitch is forever my favorite Disney character and this movie was always so great, but it’s literally so depressing, I’m 30 and I still cry like a baby whenever stitch is in the woods by himself with the book saying, “I’m lost” 😂
I did miss your beautiful faces at the end but really enjoyed this whole video, thanks so much for being your awesome selves! 😊♥️ always love your reactions 🥰👏
11:28 so fun fact, the table and pizza box Lilo uses to hide is only in the Disney+ edited version. It’s actually the washing machine, and you can hear the unchanged audio of the door clicking open. They altered it to keep kids from being their unhinged selves and locking themselves in washers.
my grandma gave me cafe de leche in the bottle when I was 2 and it put me right to sleep. caffeine has no effect on me, sometimes to this day it knocks me out 😂
Fun fact: in the original Lilo was hiding in a dryer (next to the washer) but they changed it so kids wouldn’t try to climb in the dryer lol. It’s still that way on old VHS and DVD releases.
this is the first time watching it since disney "cleaned up the scene" where Lilo hides in the dryer and her sister sits ob top of it to grab her in the blanket. (time stamp 11:28) In the original it was definately a dryer but disney realized that was a lawsuit waiting to happen and stuck a picture of a pizza on the door (though no idea what it's supposed to be now since saying its ok to crawl into a pizza oven doesn't seem much safer, lol). (i know i keep my pizza oven right next to the washing maching, lmao)
Specifically, they changed it to a table with a pizza box on its edge in front of it to mimic a door. That way they could keep the animated motion work they'd already done and just overlay it with something less imitable and potentially unsafe.
There's also the scene where Stitch fights the alien (I can't remember how to spell his name and is too lazy) and throws a multitool, in the original the item poking out of the door is a knife, here it's toothpaste.
@@unknowndane4754 i'd forgotten about that one. Somebody did a utube video about a bunch of stuff disney-plus decided to change in various disney movies before adding them to their streaming services - not sure how i feel about it but safety first i suppose.
The UK ratings board told them to change that scene when they issued it there back in '02, or else get a 12 rating (no-one under 12 allowed). The edit got them a U (the UK's G).
I love how in "Stich has a Glitch!" Jumba finishes creating Stitch and as soon as Stitch gains consciousness, Jumba thinks he did something wrong because Stitch is just a small ball of cute fluffiness (until Stitch reacts violently to being called cute and fluffy.) Then, Jumba says he'll make Stitch less cute and fluffy, Stitch says "I like fluffy!" And then when Gantu's trying to squash Stitch, calling him names and insults, Stitch grabs him by one hand and YEETS him out his windshield yelling "(I'm) Also cute, AND FLUFFYYYYYY!" I love and appreciate how Stitch embraces the fact that he's adorable and that's something he sees as a strong point and not a flaw or a weakness the way Gantu thinks it is, or the way Jumba used to think it was. Embrace your cuteness, folks! Sometimes that's a great thing you have to offer! Be who you are, and who you were created to be!
This is one of my all time favorite disney movies! I wish people watched it more! I never tapped so fast in my life! Thank you MovieBudz you guys are amazing!
I love this movie so much. The changes in animation and character designs (ie, removing sharp joints/features and replacing them with circular ones, like elbows, etc) Plus, of course, the fact that all of the music is native Hawaiian or Elvis. I didn't know about the cultural and historical meaning/symbolism behind some of the music choices, etc, until I read the comments below, but I've always loved that they centred it around the culture and people of Hawaii.
Random Fact: (Spoilers but for real...you're watching a react video.) The ending chase scene originally took place winding through the buildings of Honolulu; complete with screaming civilians, bored tourists and ruined buildings. Up to this point, the animation team had been determined to create backgrounds so real, you could ID them on the actual Hawaiian island. (yes, the songs are in native Hawiian. As are the dances) Then 9-11 ruined everything, as it tends to do. Not just the obvious horror and cost but also a ripple through every media. The end chase scene was reanimated to take place in "the mountains" (an obviously indiscernible and unreal Hawaiian landscape). It was probably the right call at the time as the US had just experienced a social upheaval hell and needed a Disney escape. So your "9-11 ruined everything" fact of the day was it changed the end of Lilo and Stitch and every disaster movie thereafter. Audiences could no longer pretend they didn't know what it looked like when large structures fell and films like Independence Day stopped being the 90's action romp they were meant to be.
Daveigh Chase voiced both Lilo from Lilo & Stitch and Chihiro from Spirited Away (dub). Both movies were nominated for an Oscar, but Spirited Away ended up taking the win. With that being said, I truly believe that if Lilo & Stitch was nominated in any other year other than the year Spirited Away was also nominated for an Oscar, Lilo & Stitch would have won
Spirited Away got an Award yah but Daveigh Chase also played the creepy girl from the Ring movie which ALSO got an award for her role. Daveigh Chase rules!

Nope. Lilo and Nani take the Cake
***So when I say i found Nani annoying I was watching it from a child’s perspective like around 8 or 9. And I just wanted to see lilo and stitches adventure! Long story short, as kids we don’t really see Nani as anything but a side character but growing up we end up seeing things differently! Also thanks for the likes ❤️***
It's funny cause when I was a child I always thought Nani was old then I realize she's what like 19? 😂
"His molecular density is too great"
I like how they kept that consistent when Nani and David tried to carry Stitch, and they are having trouble bc he's so heavy.
And the shelter woman as well.

Lilo and Stitch constantly have scenes were they talk about the mistreatment of hawaiians. Lilo takes pictures of tourists because when tourists came to Hawaii they entered the native's homes(without permission)and just took pictures. It hits different when you know that the last queen of hawaii wrote and sang this song to her people after it was taken over and their monarchy was dismanteled and taken over by the US.
Queen Lili'uokalani (1838-1917). The first sovereign Queen and the last monarch of Hawaii. She dedicated most of her reign to restoring native hawaiian rights but american plantation/business owners that were backed/supported by US military Staged a COUP and overthrew her. Her people tried to throw an insurrection and failed and she was charged with treason & put under house arrest. She refused to go to the annexation ceremonies. Even still she fought for her people to keep their traditions and rights under new government/"rule".

That's a great description

Lilo is actually so iconic. So many great one-liners.
Took me 19 years to notice that 🤦🏼♀️
19 years later and this movie still makes me cry

Is little... and broken, but still good. ... Yeah. Still good."
Not sure if it makes it better or worse that I can do the Stitch voice; the odds increase dramatically that I might make myself cry.
hey, the reason this movie look so unique is that all the backgrounds actually are watercolors! good catch!

@@cherrylattimore I feel like these kind of small censoring things aren't too bad, as the storytelling isn't actually affected
The UK ratings board told them to change that scene when they issued it there back in '02, or else get a 12 rating (no-one under 12 allowed). The edit got them a U (the UK's G).
I love how in "Stich has a Glitch!" Jumba finishes creating Stitch and as soon as Stitch gains consciousness, Jumba thinks he did something wrong because Stitch is just a small ball of cute fluffiness (until Stitch reacts violently to being called cute and fluffy.) Then, Jumba says he'll make Stitch less cute and fluffy, Stitch says "I like fluffy!" And then when Gantu's trying to squash Stitch, calling him names and insults, Stitch grabs him by one hand and YEETS him out his windshield yelling "(I'm) Also cute, AND FLUFFYYYYYY!"
I love and appreciate how Stitch embraces the fact that he's adorable and that's something he sees as a strong point and not a flaw or a weakness the way Gantu thinks it is, or the way Jumba used to think it was. Embrace your cuteness, folks! Sometimes that's a great thing you have to offer! Be who you are, and who you were created to be!
Oh god, I blocked out Nani singing goodbye to Lilo.... instant tears 🥺🥺🥺
This is one of my all time favorite disney movies! I wish people watched it more! I never tapped so fast in my life! Thank you MovieBudz you guys are amazing!
''Deserts will fix your troubles'' Me sitting here literally 50kgs heavier then I was 7 months ago, due to eating my feelings....
As a person who lives in Iowa I think it’s so funny that when movies want to create a filler topic, they always resort to Iowa.
I love how Lilo is the same girl from The Ring. It makes sense.
In France, she's voiced by the girl who voiced young Tantor in " Tarzan ", Pacha's daughter in " Kuzco " and the little kangoo in " Winnie the Pooh "
How does it make sense? Lol.
Random Fact: (Spoilers but for real...you're watching a react video.)
The ending chase scene originally took place winding through the buildings of Honolulu; complete with screaming civilians, bored tourists and ruined buildings.
Spirited Away got an Award yah but
Daveigh Chase also played the creepy girl from the Ring movie which ALSO got an award for her role. Daveigh Chase rules!
Lilo is the most accurate representation of a real life kid in any movie. And in my opinion the best Disney movie kid character.
