Excellent! I have about 15 of the "later" antennas. The problem I have is the "electronic board" stops working. Is there a way to "rebuild" the board like to resolder the joints? Wondering also if the components on the board burn out????
As always GREAT video and information!!! Do you happen to have a video or manual on how to clean / service the antenna housing? I just ordered the smooth antenna mast from your website, but before I install the new mast I would really like to clean up my housing and lube the gears. I have the older version with the metal housing and plastic cover. Fortunately its just dirty inside, there is no corrosion, its 100% in great condition other then needing a clean up.
Wow, just woke up to this video. The antenna on my 1995 W124 Cabriolet stop working yesterday. Thanks for the video.
Great video Kent, solved the very question I needed to resolve with my 560, many thanks JC
Excelent video Kent!
Great info Kent !
Trying to think of any part not researched by Kent on the older Mercs, and I can't think of one. Good show.

im sure you can reflow the solder with a soldering iron. If there are any electrolytic capacitors on the board they should be changed.
Do you have a video showing how to repair a seat that leans on one side?
Just go to my website and put "front seat repair" in the search box.
