আর বর্তমানে ইজরায়েলের গণহত্যায় সমর্থন দিচ্ছে যে অল্প কয়েকটা দেশ তার একটা হল আর্জেন্টিনা।
ইসরায়েলের হামলায় ফিলিস্তিনের নিরীহ সাধারন মানুষের মৃত্যুর মিছিল দিনকে দিন দীর্ঘ থেকে দীর্ঘতর হচ্ছে। এই অবস্থা থেকে পরিত্রানের একমাত্র পথ, স্বাধীন ও সার্বভৌম ফিলিস্তিনি রাষ্ট্র। সেই লক্ষ্যে শুক্রবার (১০) জাতিসংঘের সাধারণ পরিষদে বিপুল ভোটে পাশ হয় স্বাধীন ফিলিস্তিনি রাষ্ট্র গঠনের প্রস্তুাব। সাধারণ পরিষদের ১৯৩টি দেশের মধ্যে এ প্রস্তাবনার পক্ষে ভোট দিয়েছে ১৪৩টি দেশ। আর বিপক্ষে ভোট দিয়েছে ৯টি দেশ। এ ছাড়া ভোট প্রদানে বিরত ছিল ২৫টি দেশ।
ফিলিস্তিনের বিপক্ষে ভোট দেয়া দেশের মধ্যে আছে বিশ্বের পরাশক্তি যুক্তরাষ্ট্র। অন্যান্য দেশ হলো- আর্জেন্টিনা, চেচনিয়া, হাঙ্গেরি, ইসরায়েল, মাইক্রোনেশিয়া, নাউরু, পলাউ ও পাপুয়া নিউগিনি। আর হাজার হাজার নিরীহ মানুষের হত্যাতেও টনক নড়ছে না ইউরোপীয় ২৫টি দেশের। তারাও স্বাধীন ফিলিস্তিনি রাষ্ট্র গঠনের প্রস্তুাবে নিজেদের ভোটদান থেকে বিরত থাকেন
