Our advantage was we knew his past history and this was a dialogue on power, corruption, becoming nothing and rising again. He was the flower. OMG finally😭!! thank u guys for reacting to this masterpiece i was waiting for it first of all Xia aka Junsu he is a past member of the legendary group TVXQ from SM ent. and the mv has a deep meaning about the time that he was struggling when he was there , here is a theory explain it I believe that the ‘king-Junsu’ who sits on the throne represents SM (or SM's leaders) with great power and superior status. He’s surrounded by dancers (0:57) wearing fancy stage outfits who may represent the current idols in SM. The savage-looking group of men represent the former idols who have been banished from SM (the all-mighty dream-fulfilling temple viewed by the naive public). They, including the JYJ members, were viewed by the public as the ‘wrong’ ‘guilty’ ones, the ungrateful traitors. SM forced ugly masks on them and sealed their mouths 0:37, silencing them while making up lies to ruin their reputation, ruin their lives. And just before they leave, they throw the gold robot head on the ground 0:46. This head may represent Junsu’s past life as an SM idol who appears to be covered by fame and fortune (gold) but inside is more like a machine/robot. Now this machine is broken, this idol life is destroyed and gone. the story of the music video and the lyrics are tightly intertwined and allude to fighting against darkness/tyranny. xia in the video plays the tyrant king living on the life (gold) of his abused/poor people. that's why he then plays the rebellion leader in the second half of the video where Tablo (best lyrical rapper in SK imo - you should check him out) come in vis his ICONIC verse that describes how wronged people can still fight and win being the lights in dark times because "dark will never swallow the light".... We long time kpop fans INSTANTLY knew what Xia and Tablo mean by these verses and this song in general: Both were wronged by other industry people and could only defend themselves after much agony and defarmation and both came out winning after each of their defarmation scandals. Tablo was accused of forging his phd papers (he's a real genius that made his phd in rapid speed) and it got so bad that his university was the one to save his reputation in the end. XIA on the other hand had (still has?) to fight against him being blacklisted of Souht Korean media and showbiz because he dared to get out of SME. they truly succeeded in making his life miserable by blacklisting him along Jaejoong his ex-member FOR OVER A DECADE on all media plattforms. That is illegal but nobody says anything because SM had the means to pressure anyone back then as they had the biggest artists (capital) back then. Its about how Hades, god of the Underworld, fell in love with Persephone (goddess of spring) when he saw her picking flowers one day in a meadow. The god kidnapped her off in his 'horse' to live with him in the dark Underworld. She was unhappy for a long time, but learned to love him because he was so loving/caring to her... the point of the girl is that a Persephone is the daughter or Zeus, who is Hades's Brother.... xia in the video plays the tyrant king living on the life (gold) of his abused/poor people. that's why he then plays the rebellion leader in the second half of the video where Tablo (best lyrical rapper in SK imo - you should check him out) come in vis his ICONIC verse that describes how wronged people can still fight and win being the lights in dark times because "dark will never swallow the light"....

Both were wronged by other industry people and could only defend themselves after much agony and defarmation and both came out winning after each of their defarmation scandals. Tablo was accused of forging his phd papers (he's a real genius that made his phd in rapid speed) and it got so bad that his university was the one to save his reputation in the end. XIA on the other hand had (still has?) to fight against him being blacklisted of Souht Korean media and showbiz because he dared to get out of SME. they truly succeeded in making his life miserable by blacklisting him along Jaejoong his ex-member FOR OVER A DECADE on all media plattforms. That is illegal but nobody says anything because SM had the means to pressure anyone back then as they had the biggest artists (capital) back then. It was a hard fight but this way we also got XIA the musical actor which is widely known and loved by the whole korean public. But yeah this is the shortened version of the meaning behind the song. Flower in this case means Life.... The beauty of Life.

So, Sorry to be late but concept/story of the mv is about the love story of Hades and Persephone. Its about how Hades, god of the Underworld, fell in love with Persephone (goddess of spring) when he saw her picking flowers one day in a meadow. The god kidnapped her off in his 'horse' to live with him in the dark Underworld. She was unhappy for a long time, but learned to love him because he was so loving/caring to her... the point of the girl is that a Persephone is the daughter or Zeus, who is Hades's Brother.... Greek myth is a little odd to us now.

"I think the video portrays the story of the god Cronus, king of the Titans. He overthrew his father Uranus and ascended the throne as king of the gods.
