This is NOT a budget-friendly set up! I worked very hard to save up for this. Don’t worry- it is POSSIBLE to get a similar look for a lower budget! Please use my parts list (in description) as reference and do your research!
monitor doesn’t NEEEED to be, it’s all preference. sometimes ppl get used to 75hz and upping it trips them up. the response time though should just be under 2ms. ppl are just nit picky with telling others what they need if you like your stuff rock it. good job switching fans though haha
@@E30guySkye You got it backwards, monitor should be 120-144hz+, switching from 75 to 144 can be hard temporarily, but after a bit, the experience is far, far better. Response time is barely noticeable compared to refresh rate. Also, advertised response time is always BS, it's never actually under 2ms.
Pls mention somewhere that this is not a good configuration for anyone who wants to spend a reasonable amount on a PC. There's a lot of people here who know nothing about computers using your aesthetic inflated parts list as a reference. You can't have tips in the title and description and then list an upper midrange build for $3000+...
You should flip the top fans to make them exhaust and the bottom to make them intake so they don't clash with the gpu, it might not look as good but your temps would improve. Aside from that really nice pc build!
@@CarolCao the side with the shroud (backside) is where the air will come through with the way you have positioned the the bottom its sucking from inside you need to flip those over that way itll suck in from the bottom and blow the hot air from the top
Since you have the two radiator fans as exhaust have both the top and bottom fans as intake. Positive pressure is better on the temps. Beautiful build by the way.
@@CarolCao This is certainly better than how it is in the video but the most optimal way is to have the bottom fans as Intake and the top fans as exhaust. Heat rises so that is the most optimal way to build in this case. Well done for your first build though, it looks great
Very nice of you to include the PC Part Picker list. Too many PC builders on RUclips don't and us viewers have to take the time to hunt and look for the parts/components for a similar build. When I do my first PC build I will do the same. Who knows it may be very similar your build with a few tweaks.
Clean build, but i do want to recommend 1 thing. you have all this high end equipment but with this build you’re being limited by your monitor. 75hz is pretty low when you have a 3070 capable of up to 200+ frames. so at the moment you are capped at 75 frames. i’d recommend a 140hz so then you can really see what this pc is made of. anyways super sick build again!
Thanks for the tip! I had a hard time finding one I liked so settled for this. Definitely something I’ll look into next time I’ll upgrade the monitor. :)

nice video! i recently built my own pc a couple months ago and used a lot of the same parts u did including the case. actually i think the only difference is the mobo, cpu, and gpu. heres some tips: the lian li case comes with an atx mobo extension bracket, you should add that since it didnt look like you screwed down the mobo on the right. it shouldnt cause issues but if u want the mobo fully secured add the bracket! also you should set the bottom fans to intake (cold air at bottom) and the top fans to exhaust (hot air rises), this will help with airflow and temps for your system and gpu. i also used the nzxt cooler but i set it so that the tubes are coming out from the bottom of the pump block so they didnt push the left ram stick as harshly as it is in your build, again shouldnt cause issues but it might bend the dimm slot a little and overall looks better for aesthetics. sadly i have no advice for your issue with the strimmer cables, i was considering getting those but just went for some braided cable extensions. hopefully you figure it out! i suggest checking pcpartpicker or the lian li reddit forum. overall very clean build, congrats!!! :)
This is great, I just started to buy the parts for my first build (should be getting them tomorrow) and a lot of them are the same as yours. Its nice to see them together so I have an idea what my computer will look like.
I noticed you used a 280mm AIO cooler, pcpartpicker listed a 240MM version of this same Z63 AIO, I'm thinking that the smaller version may have given you enough room to add that LED Screen in the front you wanted. That would have been a great addition to your beautiful build!
Your setup is perfect! Every single part... Just amazing. I wanna something like that. I've my setup build with my laptop, in black colors, but your workstation is very nice.

Really beautiful build but I suggest for those of you that are getting into pc building to put your motherboard on top of the box it came with since it wont damage the back. You do not need to do this but I highly reccomend it since you can scratch the back
On the Evo dynamic case where you mounted the radiator I believe you can flip the mount for the radiator/fans and it may give you more room for the screen that you mentioned you wanted on the front panel, or you could mount the radiator on the top, have those fans exhaust and have your bottom fans intake and side fans intake, there’s lot and lots of configurations for this case though and you almost can’t go wrong how you do it. You have a very nice clean build. I personally have this case and went with an upright gpu and I can’t get over how much I love it!
btw switch the fans at the bottom to intake and top to exhaust, since hot air rises you want cool air from the bottom and the hot air to be exhausted from the top
