@NutTapActual I’ve never seen anyone confirm this but i have a theory that Matt uses a different screaming technique whether it’s live or in-studio. Every live video I’ve seen (even going back years and years) he’s doing this slightly higher fry-ish scream, I assume it’s easier on his voice for the duration of a show (not to mention for an entire tour)

For anyone wondering this was theier set at the Jera on Air Festival. Its a great festival. If you are into this music and are from that area i can really recommend it

Sounds like anyone else's voice would be shot within 2 minutes sounding like he does. Works for him though clearly. Probably sounds even more strained and rough because its such a clean and professional recording. He said he was tired and it was first show of the tour though so maybe he wasn't feeling great. I still enjoyed the performance though. No issues for me.

I have seen all of my favourite bands live now but, this band right here is one I need to tick off as soon as I can! So glad I've found them. Incredible energy, poignant lyrics, powerful vocals and stage presence. This man barks and spits every word it's incredible. Their music is very "simple" I guess but they manage to create a belting atmosphere and sound every time. Every time I walk my dogs in the morning I listen to them and want to hoof everything in my way. It's straight down your throat and that's what I love! See you in the UK!

(He works the merch table at almost all of their shows) You can tell from his lyrical content and the things he chooses to speak about in interviews that he's genuinely a really good guy and that's always a really refreshing thing to see in the hardcore scene. I was standing in line to get into the knocked loose show that they opened up for in Jersey and Matt came out and I told him “hey you think you guys could redo your set we’ve been waiting out here” he laughed and we had a quick lil convo, he’s for sure a respectful and humble guy despite his size nothing but love for the man
I want to march onto the stage and demand he replay and perform the “as a fucking threaaat” himself and not let the crowd do it because the way he growls that shit makes the whole song come together for me. Like my favorite part, I’ve replayed that single 20 seconds of track so many times I could my count
Man they kick ass its unbelievable, one of the best live bands I ve discovered in the recent years. If you have the chance go grab a ticket to one of their shows, I ve seen them twice in the last 2 years (in Munich, Germany) , and guess what? they get better and better !!!

First time I check out this band and this live video as I heard about them a while ago through the gram. Hands down one of the best tone I heard in a long time, the bassist does exactly what has to be done, drummer same, singer truly feels what he does, overall super amazing sound, well built songs. Great mix of different genres influences and they make their own thing. Love these guys! Music is about this guys… we need more of this…

Yeah, I wasn't able to find a live performance where his vocals sound low and harsh as on the record. I'm guessing it has to do with the recording method rather then anything else, so I doubt he could replicate the vocals from the record.
