BABYMONSTER (베이비몬스터), is a South Korean
girl group under YG Entertainment. The group consists of Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita. They released their pre-debut single 'DREAM' on May 14, 2023, and they made their long-awaited debut on November 27, 2023 as a 6-member group only with a digital single, 'BATTER UP, excluding member Ahyeon, who was temporarily on hiatus due to health reasons.
They will make their debut as a 7-member group, along with Ahyeon, on April 1, 2024, with the mini-album 'BABYMONS7ER.'

"This is better then American music" Lol, about a year ago I heard a Black Pink song and was about as shocked as you were, I haven't listened to our (USA) music since. As far as other groups I'll recommend the ones i like, these are mostly hip hop based XG, Stray Kids, Ateez, Young Posse A little less rap focused but still top tier New Jeans, AESPA, ITZY That will get you started😁

They’re absolutely insane! Their name comes from the fact that they have monster levels of talent, but they are also sooooo young (15-21 years old); for example, one girl was able to comfortably rap Godzilla at age 14. They have a few other songs out but they also had a survival show to see who would make the lineup, and numerous jaw-dropping, viral performances came from them. For example, one girl did a cover of Charlie Puth’s Dangerously that went so big that not only did it recently win an award in South Korea despite being released in like 2016, but Charlie was so impressed when he saw it that he literally gave them one of his unreleased songs for their new minialbum. Trust me, you wont regret checking out more of them!

Check out BabyMonster entire library on their YT channel starting with the oldest through the Last Evaluation as 90% of the songs they do are in English. They have hours of content with them training and performing live. Start with their black and white live performances followed by the 8 episodes of the Last Evaluation. They are the little sister group to Blackpink. Blackpink is the most successfull group in the world having more YT subscribers than any other music artist on Earth (approaching 100 million subscribers). Blackpink is the best and BabyMonster does have the potential to be that great some day, but they are just starting out now. What I consider the next 2 best groups are Aespa and Le SSerafim.

i think you'll love TWICE's "one spark", their latest comeback. if you're more into rap, there's XG, they have the BEST rap line, especially cocona and maya (although people might say they're not exactly kpop, but rather a global group). if you want a group with powerful vocals, there's red velvet - all of their title tracks are perfect, but "chill kill" is their latest release. blackpink are kind of babymonster's mothers, so definitely check them out if you liked babymon!

The other songs in the album are good but this one is probably the best. It's so chilling and has a darker concept than their other songs. Perfect song to react to! If you're into rock, I'd suggest Dreamcatcher. If you want a pop song, Like that is also a new Babymonster song. As well as ballads such as 'Stuck in the middle' and 'Dream'. G-idle also has creepy themes and good rap songs.
