    Beautiful dogs. Someone should have given them a bigger ring though......and gotten rid of that little dog doing all of the barking in the background, lol. That barking can drive you nuts. The Bullmastiff is my next dog and I can't wait. Awesome breed.

    I'm 52, and have been a trainer for several decades. Man, I love this breed ! They are more of a challenge when young, but the end payoff is great ! I have a 12 year old, but I am looking for the right breeding pair now. Any suggestions ?

      as a trainer do you see these dogs better than rottweilers? not just in a training aspect but all around dog.

    Can any one explain what is actually happening? I get them moving the dogs legs so that they are standing right and showing their confirmation. Seeing how they look running, OK So what's the white thing the humans keep putting in their own mouth and showing the dog. It really doesn't look any fun for the poor doggo's, getting pulled and pushed around with those piece of string leads. Am I missing something?

    Sometimes the best in a breeds standards, is not the best of the breed !? This is the problem with kennel clubs I believe !!?

      I agree. In the 90's, I remember Bullmastiffs were hulking thick dogs. Now they're breeding them to prance around like ballerinas.

    • @joelcooldogs
      @joelcooldogs  6 лет назад

      Keith Norman I know the female. She is from Bullstock’s Bullmastiff in Canada. Their dogs are the best in the world I think.

My husband works graveyard so I’m left alone at night with the children. I’m very happy with my boy. Worth every penny!

    Yeah, yeah, sure, you can go online and watch these breed groups, and in the group judging. But, it always pisses me off as a huge fan of this breed, that other than the introduction of the best in breed that participate in the group category, where the quickly run down the dogs and breeds, you never ever get to see the individual sixty seconds or whatever it is, of the judge looking over the bullmastiff on t.v., whether it's been cut out due to time, or what is perceived as people's favorites and better known breeds. This breed never seems to get a fair shake of actually being introduced to folks who have little to zero idea of bullmastiffs. Perhaps they are just too big, or don't have all the wrinkles or chorded hair to be that different. Shame really.

    they are basicly boxers on steroids

    • @dorianblack2345
      @dorianblack2345 5 лет назад +3

      Maybe in look but not even close in temperament. I had a Boxer for 7 years. Crazy dog with a horrible rebel streak..all 7 of those years. I now have 2 Mastiffs; great dogs! Easy to train and loyal without sacrificing any furniture (they have mammoth beds to lounge). Almost 400 lbs of pure love without the tantrum's.

      @@dorianblack2345 Same here. My boxer was insane but my bullmastiff is calm, smart, obedient..aside from some health problems BM's are perfect dogs.
