Also, I know we don't know much about Tory's mother, but it was still heartbreaking to me because Tory's life and mother were finally getting better, and all the sudden, her mother dies. So, I feel really bad for her, and Peyton's good acting only made it more emotional. Also, I don't think it was to "throw in more drama" it can lead to her character development as maybe she starts having a relationship with Johnny, and I know this one is far stretched, but maybe she can start living with the LaRussos after this.
I can’t believe they had Johnny and Daniel be at odds AGAIN, at the end of PART 1!!! 🙄 It’s so F’ing infuriating AND kinda insulting at this point! ALL of the amazing growth between Daniel and Johnny, from Season 5, goes straight out the shitter.. well, almost (and it hurts to write!) I can’t f’ing believe the writers couldn’t SEE during their writing process, how DUMB that decision was? 🙄 It’s going back to the old well, one too many times. Them having Johnny and Daniel be at odds for the 40th F’ing time, right before the biggest tournament ever, does TWO things. No.1: It lessens the growth that came before (FACT) And No.2: It has it feel like Season 4 all over again. The Sekai Taikai was one tournament, that Daniel and Johnny SHOULD have been completely in sync for. After 40 years and 5 seasons behind them, they’ve EARNED to be total friends at this point. And we’ve earned to see it! Them at odds again is eye-rolling, provocative, dumb, repetitive, and like I said - kinda insulting at this point. I PRAY that them being at each others throats again, won’t drag down PART 2’s energy, like it definitely dragged down the energy for the latter half of Season 4, once they “broke up”… Fingers crossed for PART 2 and 3! 🤞

Maturity is when you realize Mr miyagi was almost like Johnny Lawrence in the past and his fighting style was like Johnny cuz Sam used kindda the same move against piper in S4 as Mr miyagi used against kreese plus Ali even said Daniel and Johnny are lot more common .
What I didn’t like about season 6 is danile made it about him and not knowing about myiagis past he kept bringing it up saying he was a good guy and yet he can’t grasp that he knew how to fight and not only defense but he threw a lot of offensive drills and danile couldn’t understand that

I agree with Johnny, if Nichols wanted to fight she should’ve been allowed to continue. Daniel is too set on his ways and sometimes is detrimental to the team.
I’d argue it’s not fair to call it the worst season until all parts are out.. this is supposed to be 15 episodes total.. seems harsh to judge it off these five.
@tetsutobey there didn't have to. I was a huge fan of the show since season 2 first came out but season 4 made me lose some interest and 5 even more. They aren't nearly as good as 3 and just it feels dragged on to me personally
