The oneness of God is revealed by revelation from God, Reading the scriptures . Is very hard to explain to trinitarians unless is revealed by the Holy Ghost . Great history here to told . Thank you for putting this out there for people to understand. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Enjoyed this discussion very much. I think that if more people knew the history they would be more eager to embrace the historical doctrine of apostolic pentecostalism. Thanks. Keep it up.
The prayer of Polycarp. They did not nail him then, but simply bound him. And he, placing his hands behind him, and being bound like a distinguished ram [taken] out of a great flock for sacrifice, and prepared to be an acceptable burnt-offering unto God, looked up to heaven, and said, “O Lord God Almighty, the Father of thy beloved and blessed Son Jesus Christ, by whom we have received the knowledge of Thee, the God of angels and powers, and of every creature, and of the whole race of the righteous who live before thee, I give Thee thanks that Thou hast counted me worthy of this day and this hour, that I should have a part in the number of Thy martyrs, in the cup of thy Christ, to the resurrection of eternal life, both of soul and body, through the incorruption [imparted] by the Holy Ghost. Among whom may I be accepted this day before Thee as a fat and acceptable sacrifice, according as Thou, the ever-truthful God, hast foreordained, hast revealed beforehand to me, and now hast fulfilled. Wherefore also I praise Thee for all things, I bless Thee, I glorify Thee, along with the everlasting and heavenly Jesus Christ, Thy beloved Son, with whom, to Thee, and the Holy Ghost, be glory both now and to all coming ages. Amen.”
the Greatest comment is Mark 12:29 (KJV) And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: praise the Lord, believe that God is not trinity.
Since it's understood by leading scholars, Beasley-Murray and FF Bruce among them, that N.T. baptism included self invocation of Jesus Name by the convert, then according to what is presented in this video, the Pentecostal movement, especially the Oneness wing, should embrace dual invocation in baptism and include this Apostolic example into our doctrinal principles. --Mark August
@@benglish09 She was the mother of the son of God, or the flesh. To say mother of God implies that she was ancestral to the Spirit somehow. It is important to distinguish between God as a Spirit, and the Son of God, or the incarnation. This is the only distinction in scripture, never between persons in the godhead.
@@sudburyupc this is known as Nestorianism, a heresy, if you separate the humanity from his divinity. The person that Mary birthed was both fully God and fully human in one person. At no point did Jesus, the eternal Logos, cease being God, therefore the one she gave birth to is God the Word who took on human form (see Philippians 2). There is no scripture that teaches Son of God means flesh. What you are doing is confusing nature and person. Remember, the Word is identified as Jesus in John chapter 1 who was WITH God the Father. 1 John 1 bookends John 1 and basically repeats it and even calls Jesus "the eternal life who was with the Father". So in the incarnation, the Son who is same subject as the Word, was already there, He took upon humanity from Mary as one person with 2 natures. Yes, he received his humanity from Mary but the Logos is God and not separated from his humanity in the incarnation.
@@andys3035 I absolutely agree, Jesus is God Almighty manifest in the flesh. However, he was God on his father's side, and man on his mother's side! To say that Mary is the mother of God is to make her a parent of his divinity, which is false.
God bless you...am a member of the church

This is the question I always want to ask UPCI followers Can someone answer this for me. Did Jesus Christ take Mary's flesh and blood?
Absolutely! She was his mother lol
@@sudburyupc would you then be willing to call Mary the "Mother of God?"

Have we misinterpreted Hebrews 10 25 all this time?

Repent
Quit twisting the scripture and adding words. You need to repent.
