I love declutter videos. I declutter my lipstick collection and out of 80 lipsticks I ended up with only nine. It has to be one of the greatest feelings to get rid of what you don’t longer use/need. 💄😘

The notion that a RUclipsr can't talk about a limited item after it's officially sold out always has bothered me. Just because its limited or an old collab doesn't mean i'm not interested or can't buy it elsewhere.

Also, I love the Lancôme matte lip shakers. It’s my favorite. Basically like a liquid lip but actually doesn’t feel like it. It’s a mixture of a liquid lip and a stain. It lasts all day for me personally. Love them!

Your declutter videos are my favorite to watch because you give the reasons behind keeping or tossing (or donating or give away) and you are ruthless, girl! You inspire me to go thru my collection and declutter!
Jess, I love your declutter videos, but I feel like you should just keep a running donation area for all of your PR that comes in shades you won't use. That way you only open the ones your likely to keep, and if you find a formula you want to try a random shade in, then you still have it, but it won't be burrying the things you love and want to use often. 😘😘😘

I really enjoyed this. I loved that you picked just one or two shades from your unopened PR to try out, then donated the rest. A lot of youtubers would almost feel obliged to swatch them all. Passing on a bit of joy to someone having a tough time is worth a thousand swatch videos! You know those lipsticks will be treasured 😘

It's OK to keep limited edition makeup! A lot of us will have it, and there's a lack of tutorials for LE stuff. Those elf x Christian Siriano Lippies are still available. The light pink one is a lip oil, and I use it as a treatment or lip balm. Great job, as always. I'm still working on my lip declutter, but I try them on so it's taking ages. 😁

I think you were the only RUclipsr that actually got threw to me about decluttering. I FINALLY decluttered my makeup because I was getting overwhelmed. And my brushes. My brushes were out of control!! It really was eye opening how much makeup I was just holding onto for no reason really. Thanks ❤️
Jessica you honestly inspire me so much with your declutter videos. In the last year I have come to terms with my anxiety and realizing I was buying makeup to cope with it. Coming to terms with this and watching your declutter videos has helped me so so much in decluttering my own stash and giving away so much to family and friends and donating what I haven't used. I just wanted to thank you so so much for the motivation and inspiration to manage my collection and find other, better coping strategies for my anxiety, these videos mean so much to me!!

I love your declutters because they are ACTUALLY cut throat! The amount of lip products you kept is about the same amount of products I own and I am not a RUclipsr I just love make up and I still feel like I own too much although I did a declutter myself. You have inspired me to attempt to do more decluttering or attempt to use up more of what I own

I’m supremely impressed by your code of organization and refusal to keep “just to own.” I don’t know how other beauty influencers can remotely keep up w the tons of products they own, and know where to find something they’re looking for. Ok, Jess! I just watched like seven of your videos today while I decluttered and organized my skincare, haircare, makeup, nail products (it is laughable that I have ANY since I don't have the patience to touch up my fingernails and my toenails get gross and flaky if I leave polish on them for even a few days), and pretty much the rest of my bathroom and dresser. WOW. You really inspire me to throw away and donate stuff I won't use. If it's been on my dresser for two years and I've used it ONCE, why keep it? Thank you for being my Saturday declutter companion!

Kira Cox I don't know about over in the UK but here in the states, the name Kira isn't very common (it's starting to be more popular than when I was growing up but most of the time people spell it completely different than you and I do)
It's the same story here! I know a lot of people who would pronounce it the same but spell it either Kiera or Ciara - I've only ever met one other person who spells it this way!
Lips are my absolute favorite beauty products, especially glosses! I would not be able to declutter as much as you. Good job!

Side note- do NOT sleep on the Lancôme matte shakers, they are AMAZING! Magic orange is my favorite one. They feel like NOTHING on and last sooo well on the lips. Even when they fade they leave a nice stain. They’re my favorite!

Good morning! I just started watching this vid, but I had to pause it to tell you to try AngelFoodCake in the NYX butter gloss. I pair it with the Rimmel lip liner in Eastend Snob (you recommend it years ago and it’s still my go-to for the perfect “my lips, but better.”) That pairing have been my standard for about three years now. Hi , I really loved my declutter, all my drug store makeup was passed on ,
but the only lipstick which were unopened , the rest I put into the bin.
So I only kept my high end which were selected with love , and I felt so much better and my family enjoyed everything I gave to them !
Today I decluttered from 24 lip products to 9. I kept 4 liquid lipsticks, 1 lipstick, 1 lipgloss, 2 lip liners, and 1 tinted lip balm. Feels so much better to only have things I use and love.

Your declutter videos are the best and such an inspiration.I recently decluttered my lip collection, and I was appalled to see that about 30%-40% of my products were dupes for each other. I even took a photo of the swatches on my arm so that I would remember to stop buying the same colors over and over but from different brands. I am hoping that, with a more streamlined collection (never was close to as large as yours, but I don’t test or review makeup as part of my job!), I will have a better idea of what I already own and won’t waste money on a product that’s an accidental dupe for something I already have.

Great collection! You got rid of soo many. That's great. I've seen videos where people keep most of their lipsticks, even though they don't wear the color, formula is bad, or etc. It's wonderful that you decluttered the ones that you don't use or know are bad. Also, it's great that you kept the ones that you'll use. Great decluttering video! Loved it!
Love your declutters! I absolutely love the Revlon matte lips because they are by far the most comfortable matte liquid lipstick at the drugstore. When I did my lip declutter they were the first thing I was like "I cannot get rid of"

Wow, this was so inspiring! I decided to declutter my lipsticks as well and went from 41 to 25! I may even pass on a few more, but THANK YOU for the inspiration and courage to do it! If I'm not reaching for something, why keep it? Friends of mine will enjoy them now.
