The clips near the end from the targa florio are just properly mental. Old school crazy behaviour
The onboard camera was taken on friday during the practice session when the 'track' was open to traffic. It's kinda crazy to think that powerful prototypes and well known drivers raced on open roads.
@@SuperMirco1998 Cars parked on the side, people watching right next to them and a literal truck driving along... Crazy times back then
@@SuperMirco1998 There's another clip like that of Le Mans, i think it's Mike Hawthorne in a D-Type Jaguar, and he's doing a flying practise lap on the open road while comentating, with cyclists, cars and other road traffic as back in those days thee practise day was open, theres someone in the coments of that video talking about driving a beetle round there in 65 the day before the race and having Cobras, GT40s, 330s and so on pasing them on practise laps. Absolutely mindboggling to think about these days
Really crazy but fun in same time iam sure he enjoy that ride!
I will always wonder what it was like as a race car driver back then, looked like so much fun. You just have people going about their day and then a race car rips by 🤣
We need more of this compilation. That first clip is the kind of racing you love to see. a little bit of contact and some chaos but amazing racing.
There is a plan of at least 4 episodes
@@SuperMirco1998 yes thank you! I love this vid, but please don’t stop with the monthly crash comps!
Yeah it’s like they’re not trying to wreck each other they’re just going for the win unlike nascar and maybe indycar
The cars didn't sound like much though...
I like more that old shool practice race on normal road!
Holy shit that 1973 clip! I need to find out more about this madness!!??!
You can find the full 22 minutes long video in description
Practice lap with traffic, the actual race was done on closed roads.
Targa Florio in Sicily. It was a sports car world championship race up to 1973, and died off a few years later.
Targo Florio was insane
To add, it's been added as a map in the sim racing game Asetto Corsa and streamer Jimmy Broadbent (on YT) has done a lap or two around it in a Porsche 911.
The 1973... just casually racing though town!! Love it all thanks!
obligatory 'when your girl tells you she's alone for a few hours'
"Tommy Hill takes another dive, up the inside, into the chiCANE"
*voice crack*
Two of my favorite motorsports channels in one thread
sheeCAAAAN
Not chicane, he perfectly clearly says "Sheene curve" which is the name of that corner.
@@whothebeast666 Indeed
The EuroV8/V8 Stars series was properly underrated. Glad to have seen it at Donington in 2012, closest Europe ever got to V8 Supercars
But more "legal"
Those Rs5 were fast!!
The commentator running out of breath trying to keep up with everything happening had me DYING.
@@bman6198 HA! I KNOW 😆 "My voice can't get any higher!"
That's what I like to see! What actual street cars can do 💪 Those were built production cars, right 🤔
I was up really late, watching that.
Oh shoot, I still have #2 to watch!
7:01 who said you can't bump draft in Open-Wheelers?
dude was like "if you aint going faster, imma make ya faster" madlad
I think that its really risky, if something goes wrong everyone behind them goes down
Shake and bake baby
Shows how effective bump drafting really is, Let off the throttle twice and still managed to stay hooked in the draft and overtake.
its risky can cuase damage to the guy in fronts transmisson , you can break your front wing , or crack the rain light which is a instant DQ if you dont have one
5:40 A fantastic example of track temp.
Got my heart pumping really hard on the bikes, that last lap was tuff
That 908 MKIII onboard back in the 70's is just insane! Dear God... Great work, mate!
Top 5 best motorsport channel on RUclips no 🧢
0:56 The commentator got too excited that he forgot to breath.
Motorsport is the only sport where every milisecond changes result
Tommy Hill's battle for first on Brands Hatch and David Hauser's ass-puckering save through Les Grippon at full speed on St.Ursanne are "the moments" in this compilation.Plenty of great ones, but these really struck me the most, along with Mikkelssen's save.
6:12
It reminds me of the clash between Rossi and Stoner at the same corner
also Marquez and Rossi at the same corner, history do repeat itself 😂
@@rizqauldy6670 *exactly*

7:17 great racing, made all the better by John Hindhaughs commentary. 👍🏻
Amazing compilation as always, thanks to you, I've started falling in love with various other Motorsport disciplines
6:11 "I'm gonna do what's called a pro gamer move."
Amazing compilation my man!
Hill vs Hopper was the stuff of legend. I was jumping up & down watching that.
The Glenn pile up was very frustrating and the 70s stuff through traffic is WILD.
imagine driving your truck, making a delivery, and all of a sudden, a 908 comes and flies by you out of nowhere
Lmao the commentator was absolutely DEAD his voice was gone
7:19
I'm really looking forward to more of this series! Great job!
Honestly, the best Motorsport video i have watched
0:10-2:52 this is the best racing I've seen period
That Euro V8 clip
*Even the commentator cant keep up xD*
5:47 The closest thing to F1 racing at Laguna Seca...It would be incredible to watch!
Indycar is racing there this year. American Open Wheel racing has quite the history at Laguna Seca.
Outstanding! You have the best vids with the best clips.👍
9:30 when ppl gotta use the bathroom and do pay attention to the wet floor sign
Great video series, thanks for compiling these!
This is why I love motorsport
OMG! This was just CRAZINESS!!! These videos are AWESOME!!!
This was over too soon! Highly enjoyable video, thank you Mr. M.
Remember watching Zanardi's pass live on TV ! Great video Mr.M !
Great video, thanks for posting it, awesome!!!!
One of the best racing overall Motorsports video I've seen in awhile
Great video, gets the heart pumping some of these!
this will be a good series
Amazing video! Thanks for the upload
Even only for this superb footage from Targa Florio.... Geeess... THANK YOU! 😎
Fantastic!! Thank you for this
That Audi race was GREAT!
fantastic channel. No motorsport fan wants to see "10 worst crashes" videos.
This is some of the best clips of Targa Florio I've watched here on the tube. Could be fantastic with same quality of the years 1960s-1972.
In 2012 I drove the full 72k slopes (more or less, some parts sadfully was demolished) as a 40y birthday present to myself, getting away with claiming to my wife that "we've got lost" (she claimed about getting motion sick but enjoyed the view on a perfect sky clear day).
Definitely, I was born in the wrong decade...would've loved to attend this spectacle in the golden age of motorsports.
Thank you for another great vídeo!
The intro Is super. Great video idea! Can't wait for 2nd episode
This is a nice series, please keep it up
Fantastic video ! Please upload more of these. The targa Florio was just crazy !!
Part 4 is in development 😉
This was amazing! True racing
That Porsche flip was insane
Stratosferico!!!!🔝🔝🔝👍👍👍🚀🚀🚀
the amount of time you must have spent to make this fabulous compilation is greatly appreciated!
The superbikes at Brands hatch was my favorite.
Tommy Hill & John Hopkins battle to the finish was insane.
6:10 I guess zanardi has played too much arcade racing games to do this kind of dive bomb... The other driver had to give space to avoid crash smh
Cry about a 15yr old clip
Perfect racing. Too safe nowadays not even worth watching.
@@prtheid how is that perfect racing? Risking an accident for a pa's that should never stand because he didn't even make the corner. Bullshit driving
@@dannywhite132 No risk. No reward. People should die in motorsport
@@randyesyelnat4957 Not crying, just stating that was dangerous move and crash was only avoided by other drivers good awarness.
Amazing video!
Great video 📸😊 keep up the great work !
It got me to stand up from my chair right from the very first clip. Brilliant.
Simply brilliant
That first dude is fucking hilarious but such a strong passion watching that race.. He couldnt even talk lmfao
Great great compilation
great video as usual :)
Amazing video 👍
Villeneuve vs Arnoux at Dijon on 1979 is an real motorsport moment!!!
Liked it before I watched it.
Quality stuff. Targa Florio was insanity. Bring it back!!!!
Its is but its impossible:(
Just Brilliant!!!
Great stuff!
I was watching this listening to music and fortunate son came on and it fit perfectly
I can’t wait for the next installment.
That Brands Hatch one was beyond insane
Damn is this a good one. Cheers!
awesome video
Those three Audi drivers are bosses. That was awsome.
I enjoyed it ,........love motorsport, the speed the smell and SOUND >Motor/Car/V8 in every mod/Spec.....
Is my daily shot, I need it twice on Sunday and Holiday's.........spare time's is on the Bike and go around.
One exception : Family, that I can't replace and comes first, period. ;-)
Jesus christ great video!!
Soooo gooood 😍
Very good video
1970s racing it just cannot be beaten.
Awesome video! recommend Montoya vs Andretti @ Michigan 2000
Listening to these with eurobeat is a fucking experience I tell you
Zanardi. Corkscrew. Timeless.
The Targa Florio clip is awesome! so old school
IMSA baby! 🏁
10:04 RESPECT !!!
The four wide IndyLights finish needs to appear in a future video.
Ca-Ching! Good stuff!
the old style racing like the targa florio and mile miglia were like that! Thats why Sir Stirling Moss' record at the mile miglia was so impressive.
I love how formula 1 wasn’t included!
Great Video
Porsche LMP: driving having a good time early on Road Atlanta
car historians: *intense sweating*
0:55 Gollum's new job.
Brutal!!!!
i'll be here waiting for the next episode
It's online on tuesday 😉
Good lord battle between hopkins and the other on superbike!
Was BRILLIANT
Hopkins was crying at the after race interview. I don't think he was ever mentally the same after that.
Immensely popular with the crowd and a great character.
The brands hatch race omg that was insane
That Hill/Hopkins at Hatch was such a legendary battle
I love it
BSB is an amazing series
the best part of this video is that is quite clear how much the commentators love the sport.
8:50 ¨if you no longer go for a gap¨
The 1st/2nd clips seemed more like a backmarker affecting the race at the front, haha he was all over the place as soon as matey got past he was gone
