I keep thinking how fortunate we are that three years ago, Kevin decided to take his TV cameraman skills and train them on LAX. These kinds of incidents came and went without the public ever knowing about them. Now we have a blow by blow real-time accounting and it is absolutely thrilling.
A380 go around and AVL is there to capture it all! Well done, Kevin, as always!
Good situational awareness. That's another one for the incident report system at LAX.
It is incredible to see these aircraft climb so quickly. Forever in awe.
AVL always gets the action
Good catch Kevin. Nice heads up call by ATC.
King had no other choice because his space was limited, er occupied that is. Amazing to see him climb again!
Wasn't his choice. ATC called the go-around.
Fantastic job by ATC....I wish we could listen in to them in the UK. Saw this live and it was quite the moment, Kevin!
Great 👌 catch, Kevin. Two thumbs up 👍.
Holy Moly, that was surprised to see Emirates A380 did go around, and good luck with your meeting tomorrow Kevin! 🖤🖤
Hi Cristina!
Hello there Going Slightly Mad
Great show again ❤
Great catch Kevin and great situation awareness with catching on to what was happening, explaining it, and showing it all live on the fly! True professional
It's another moment for Kevin
Awesome shots as always Kevin. The Go Around of the A380.
I feel like you’re on a roll lately, Kevin. One legendary clip after another. Congrats.
Wow is right. What a turn of events. 😮
Nice catch
I saw it happening on flightradar24, nice to see/hear the reason why now
I know it doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's something to see.
What was the hold up of the SAS down field?
Emirates had no choice but to do a b/c SAS was still on the runway; Delta was not given the clearance to takeoff by the ATC. So, another 10 minutes for Emirates in the sky b/c of miscalculation by the ATC. Plus, the flight time from Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Los Angeles International Airport is: 17 hours, 11 minutes. It happens but this was unacceptable IMHO. Great work in capturing the
The SAS took nearly two full minutes to clear the runway after landing. You can't really place the blame on ATC here.
Go around go around!!
ATC has quite the job, kuddos to their heads up for the safety of others, ❤. SASMove out of the way! I wonder if pilots wasn't paying attention to how far the back end of their plane was still on the runway.
I was at work when I saw the go around!!! Massive unit! So cool!! Love the channel man! 🤘🏼
Thank you Kevin for doing what you do best. 🛩️
Amazing so cool to see the a380 fly over must’ve been loud great video I think it’s atc fault for not getting delta off the runway but other than that it seemed pretty cool
Not ATC’s fault here. SAS a350 took much longer than usual to vacate the runway and Delta was already lining up (no where for them to go once on runway). A fairly common incident for an airport this busy.
@@TheGreatAwesomeness1 oh ok
Great capture Kevin
Wow. Great job by the ATC.
oh i love the roaring of the trent 900's
How much did SAS cost Emirates in fuel with that go around? 🤔
With average fuel consumption rate of $5,287.00.
It probably took them a extra half hour so around $2,143.50.
I didn't know that it would cost the other airlines to pay a penalty for the go around.😮
@@hrushikeshjigale7891 the fuel required to go around and line back up into sequence for landing again
@@9nightmaster Just unbelievable 😳
@hrushikeshjigale7891 it doesn't. Just increases Emirates own fuel bill.
I guess you have to make this channel exciting somehow. Haha. You rarely get the wheel falling off, I guess. But you got it!
My son’s flight on British airways A380 from Heathrow did this a few weeks ago. Pilot told them he didn’t like the landing due to fog or something.
That would have been amazing to see!!
That was crazy good
You are the best, please plan at future to have a remote camera in another airport and you commute between LAX and another interesting airport so you can show content take offs and landings. Or a remote camera in LAX with the famous landing approach zone, so you catch the take off and switch to your traditional camera. Finally some of us might have some streaming app inside the plane and you could catch that streaming for internal perspective of landing! 😊
Oh no
Wow! Good job all involved! 😮
I was on a delta flight into Portland and experienced my first go around , pilot said they were having to check some issues , never heard another word from pilot. It was kinda scary for me , I’m a nervous flier
Hol moly, your catching all the good stuff!
So what was the problem with the Delta jet ? Why did it delay take off ?
ATC kept calling Delta 931 heavy, Canadian 931 heavy. Is that what I heard?
Great catch 🎥👍🏻
tower mistake ? I think so. If so that must infuriate the crew.
LAX based pilot here…Tower told Scandanavian to cross 24L @ taxiway AA and he just stopped on active RW 24R. Not tower’s fault at all.
@@andrewsmart5830 Sure looked like Delta was ready for an immediate takeoff and then had to stop because of Scandinavian.
3:00 I’m wondering how high it’ll have to climb for a go around.
What is this spot called?
Nhìn mãi không chán !
Can we get Juan Brown to give his analysis?
SAS nearly caused a horrendous chain reaction. What caused SAS to pause on the runway, after landing, airport traffic, construction, birds...?
I feel bad for Emirates. It's a 15-hour flight from Dubai to LAX, and now they have to spend another 30 min. in the air! I wonder what their fuel status was.
Hi, AVL family, I have a question hope somebody can answer me, when I plane is going around, the passangers get announced that, or you just know?
Great catch, Kevin. My question is did Delta get clearance to line-up and wait on the runway? Was there a double error with SAS and Delta that forced the go-around? Poor controller....probably a sweater for a minute.
Delta was given clearance to line-up but was unable to take off due to SAS spending nearly two full minutes on the runway after landing.
The SAS crew must have been tired. They had to rest on the runway.
Okay did it seem like that took a minute till they started climbing??!
They retracted the landing gear and then followed the ATC's instructions regarding heading and altitudes. There was no need to climb immediately, since they were still at a considerable altitude when the go-around instruction was given.
How much in fuel can cost a single go around in a freaking a380
Why did they clear the Delta flight to go on the runway when the A350 hadn't cleared yet?🤔🤨
Lined up

What, if anything, do they announce to the passengers in a situation like this? Do they say " we are going around," and assume you know what that means?
I was in a plane that did a go around. It was a much smaller plane flying from SFO to SNA. It was a long time ago but I will never forget it. We were almost down and suddenly the plane went up like a rocket. Scared us all to death. We went around and then landed safely. Not a word was said to us. Guessing they would handle it differently now.
@@southerncaladygolfer8651 Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I bet that would be very scary.
Today's Livestream?
Yes
It seems there was a 20 second delay from the time of the go-around order to the A380 starting its climb. Interesting.

Think you don't have enough watermarks on these video's lol
hold than clear for take of 12 r
What was the $$$$ of that go around? Crazy!!
Around $2,143.50
Do pilots get summoned when they make this type of silly mistake. Props to ATC for preventing a serious incident there
Emirates inicia arremetida! Inicie o go-around
You should have subtitles in Spanish for you Hispanics
Google Translate is great if you don't speak English language. Most planespotters want only the English language in their chat. That is their policy so that everyone can understand each other.
@@lisawesley7132 okay, thank you for responding, I understand it is exclusive only for the English language, thank you, take care
