Nice ideas :) they look great. Be careful with exposed laser cutters tho… the laser guard can’t cover the laser all the way down, there’s always a gap to allow the laser to move on the gantry, so some light can escape. The enclosed ones are much safer. Sorry for the unsolicited advice, those things just make me kind of nervous. Do you burn on site at craft shows? Any craft show I’ve ever been to they get really worried about it being a potential fire hazard or setting off smoke alarms (sorta ridiculous) and won’t let me 😆
Good advice! I wear the recommended goggles, but I still try not to look at it too closely. 😂 Yes I’ve burned on site before. The outdoor ones don’t really care, and the indoor ones haven’t stopped me.
@@BurnSavvy cool! Yeah maybe my mistake is telling them in advance that I intend to burn at my booth 😂 I think they get the wrong idea from the word “burn” might be better to just show up an do it and see if they tell me to stop 😆
Typically they use balsa or poplar for bookmarks. Pine is usually too knotty for that. The one I burned in the video was pine, but it’s not one that I bought, I was using up my wood scraps. 👍
Thank you for sharing. It’s always good to see good energy and creativity
Thanks! And I’m happy to help 🙌🔥
Absolutely love these ideas.
Yay! I hope you get to try some!
Love this video thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!

Do you know if they make birch bookmarks. Or are they mostly pine?

If we get images off the internet or cute sayings and then sell the signs we make, do we have to worry about copyright infringement??
Yep. It’s best to use images that are copyright free or that you purchased the rights too. I like Pixabay for free images
@@BurnSavvy OK great, thank you
