The middle aged petrol head in me thinks this could be the perfect do it all car. But then I remember it's nearly 2022 and I'd just look like a fool picking up the kids from school/college in it as the V8 pops and crackles. The Turbo E-Hybrid surely makes a better all rounder, only fractionally slower but could do 80% of my journeys on electric alone.
I love my Porsche Cayenne with it's 22-inch wheels because it goes round corners like it's a roller skates. how Porsche have made the Cayenne go round corners even better must be absolutely amazing to drive just wish I could afford the GT Turbo.
That thing is s beast! I love the way these cars can transition so seamlessly, from gentle quiet daily driving, to full hoonigan at your slightest whim! They just do what you want, almost before you even think of it. Pretty much all Porsche cars give you that effect too. Even jumping from a GT3 into a base Macan leaves you in no doubt. I think that’s why they always get professional reviewers (and Tim) all moist 💦
It is great when electric is everywhere... enjoy it whilst we can... everything will be silent before we know it. Now off to Rob and bank...wait, no- not on yet preferred list from a dealer!!
I got 2022 911 turbo s, but in terms of practicality I see it as a weekend car can’t use it daily. Seriously thinking of swapping the 911 with a turbo gt ? Any thoughts ?
I found the 992 Turbo horrifically noisy on motorways (which I know isn't the reason for buying one, but it does hurt its usability a bit). I'd much rather have the Cayenne - it's still silly but useable as a daily. It's still a few notches firmer and more hardcore than a regular Cayenne Turbo though, but livable. I'd go for the Cayenne Turbo GT and then marvel at how an SUV can feel a lot like a sportscar…
ehh, if it's a SUV... it should be judged on speed over rough surfaces, which means off road tires... Sports SUV's are pretty dumb... if you want to go fast... get a car. Crackle tune SUV's in the school pick up line it the epitome of trashy loser. my M3 holds more... and is just better at purpose. Not sure why they don't do the SUV's in proper Rally style. and yeah... the Hybrid... so much better.

Your kids would love that though
Lost it at "oh Jesus please slow down I'm going to divorce you handles"
I've yet to find a better name for them! Thanks for watching :)

I get I’ve always had hot hatches as a daily like golf r, rs3 but bought a Macan GTS last year and love it, just does everything.
This is the way
Just leaving a pointless comment because I like this guy.
That's not pointless because it warmed the cockles of my heart nearly two weeks later
This is meant to at least be your 5th car
What a great car, wow. Great video, thanks
Thanks Ben!
I wish I could be arsed to work harder so I could afford one, alas I can’t.
You and me both. Good thing I hate hard work
I have a Cayenne Turbo Coupe and everyone thinks it's a Macan...as much as I love the turbo GT...it has no street cred.
That because there’s none on the streets yet and if there were who cares about street cred?
Good point

My Panamera exhibited the Ackermann effect. Always when cold. Very stiff front axle is the cause. Small price to pay.
Hope my dad buys this😂

@@TimRodieDrivesStuff thank you tim, Will do the swap and enjoy the Turbo GT
Did you make the swap?
@@bentleygucci I did and I learnt the hard way .. the 911 is a must in my life
@@SuperAmo87 do you not like the Turbo GT??
Simplify, then add lightness
Yes, but then you end up with a Lotus that no one buys

Tim the porsche salesman, is all good it's all beautiful, zero objectivity and zero honesty when reviewing these cars/SUVs.
Erm. Ok…
@Andres You OK hun?
Where did the bad Tim touch you?

Salesman is a euphemism for an insult. He says that to anyone who reviews Porsche, because he hates the brand.
Lighten up Francis - it’s a car review and a good one at that.
