This is part 165 of the series (Boxes 313-314) and I do plan on updating it from each penny box I hunt from this point forward until the penny coin collection is nearly completed! Also, we will be updating the Canadian Small Cents Albums going forward as well. Keep hunting and good luck! They're still out there for us to find! Keep searching through nickels I believe you will find that 1950 Denver. I’ve been searching through coins for 10 years. I just found my first one yesterday
Lucked out today cashing in loose change at one of my bank’s coinstar - in discard tray 1959-D silver quarter. My first coinstar find! Maybe that’s a good sign for the random rolls I exchanged for today
Definitely a little better than the previous hunt. That's a really nice 68-S, I'd be proud to pull that from circulation. As always, great hunt brother!
Man penny hunting is rough lately. I'm near Oshkosh Wisconsin and the last 20 or so penny boxes I've had 0-10 wheats per box. But the other day I got a box that had 10 double wheat enders and 8 others with single enders. I total ended up finding 365 wheats in one box with 7 varieties 3 errors and 2 with some amazing lamination errors. One with the day peeled off with a layer of metal still attached with brown toning on the date and underneath beautiful copper and the date under also
The Hunt and find series are great. I do hope when you're done with these you start new ones. It gives me hope that there's more out there for us find.
I've found an FS-01-1955-102 before. Sent it off to ANACS to have it in a holder with other varieties.. Mine is somewhere in the VF range, I don't know where I put it. Thanks for another hunt.
I found a 1950 silver Canadian dime in the Coinstar the other day. Today I got 20 wheat pennies out of $10 in pennies including 5 older ones: 19,20,35,39,and 39. All P’s. The Loomis rolls in my bank have been pretty good the last 2 times I got them. The 40D and 48S you found today are both under 100 million mintage and hard to find around here in the Northeast.
I've been seeing a lot of dinged-up and damaged dimes in the registers at work for a few months now. I don't know why, but they just keep being there. If it was someone's collection of battered coins, then you'd think they would all be in one box. We've gotten several boxes of dimes since I started seeing these dimes, and I can't figure it out.
I figure once you hit 400 boxes ($10,000 in pennies, or one million coins), you'll discontinue the series (but if you find any additions or upgrades, you will still upgrade them)
Hey Rob, thanks for the video. Regardless of the finds (or lack thereof), I'm glad to see you hunting given the circumstance. I hope the news is well from the docs and that you're feeling better. As always, keep it up brother!

Not the greatest hunt, not the worst hunt, here for you no matter how they turn out.

Perseverance will reward you!
I have been light too on the hunts. Hope you are getting better.
Fun Finds.
👍😎👍
Always my fav ( penny hunt )
Sometimes you bite the bear, and sometimes the bear bites you. Pretty tough hunt. Nice 1951-P, though, even though it wasn't an upgrade.
Yay😊
Thank you and BOOM! 💥
You have really Strong Fingers opening those boxes !!😊
Love your hunts Rob ! You Rock & Rule !!❤

Last week, a box I went thru had 16, MS62-63 1974-D Reds
Wait! Wait! Wait!
What is that on the reverse of the 1957D @8:41??? That sure looks like a huge print error.

Love your channel. I have learned so much from you. Just wanted to let you know that I got a war nickel as change at the gas station yesterday!
Got my 1st quarter box wish me luck
😮
You need a red as it gets book.
That trashed 57D probably spent about 5-10 years in the trap in a washing machine! Copper coins found in our old washer usually looked like that.

THAT BEING SAID, nice pennies! Hope you’re feeling alright, Rob.
✌️
Lucky! I've only found one wheat cent in change this year..
22 woohoo
👍
Keep it up good sir, prayers up to you as always good sir!
Great hunt Rob! Keep going!
Making $money!! Hand 🖐 over fist 👊!!
I sold my collection and traveled around the world last summer.
Hi
The hunts are still fun so lets keep going christmas cash ins coming soon so hopefully some good finds to come
Hi!! Love your videos, how do you tell the copper ones and what do you do with them?
Any earlier than 1982 are copper. For 1982 you need to weigh them to determine if its copper or zinc.
Let's gooooooo
Do you keep track of how many times you get a dime in a penny box or a penny in a nickel/dime hunt?
I've been seeing a lot of dinged-up and damaged dimes in the registers at work for a few months now. I don't know why, but they just keep being there. If it was someone's collection of battered coins, then you'd think they would all be in one box. We've gotten several boxes of dimes since I started seeing these dimes, and I can't figure it out.
Ouch for 1957! My mom was born in 47 and I'm happy to say she's doing allot better than that 57 Lincoln.
penny
I figure once you hit 400 boxes ($10,000 in pennies, or one million coins), you'll discontinue the series (but if you find any additions or upgrades, you will still upgrade them)
Why do you save all the copper pennies? Can you melt them for the metal content?
It's not legal to melt them down at the moment but a lot of people save them in hopes it will be someday.
They are worth more than face value do to being copper.
rob what happend to yuour hand
First
One of these days maybe you can list the 24 that you still need 🤷♂️
If you make peace with the 50-D penny, perhaps a nickel will feel more comfortable making an appearance.
surprised you haven't started a ugly penny set yet
RUclips broke on me :(
Hey Rob, thanks for the video. Regardless of the finds (or lack thereof), I'm glad to see you hunting given the circumstance. I hope the news is well from the docs and that you're feeling better. As always, keep it up brother!
Love a good Penny hunt!
